Checked the RAW register but there are no R-32 compliance workshops in Victoria for SEVS vehicles. :D

Does anybody know whether somebody down here is planning to get approval to do this or will I have to incorporate as part of my plan the need to ship it to NSW or QLD??

I think Ultimate Performance Imports does compliancing for R32 GT-R I asked them ages ago, they said they can complied it by now.

Their address is 88 Levanswell Rd Moorabbin. Ph: 9555 3611.

Hope it helps.

Andreas,

Did you talk to Danny? From what I understand there are only two or three RAWS for R32's presently. So finding one is difficult. I know Imports101 has had several complied over east, just not sure where. They themselves aren't too far away from being able to offer compliance out their own shop in WA.

Cheers

Richard

    • Hey guys so turns out this project is going to be much bigger than I thought haha but I've done some my homework and have done a few panels on my car, but one part I can just not visualise is this. If I do a spot repair and I put filler in a dent for example and sand outside of the repair with 320 grit lets say so the primer can stick as I will only put primer on that repair and the surrounding area and then repaint the whole panel. Don't I need to make sure that I don't put primer on the old clear coat? I keep seeing YouTube videos where people have new paint and primer land on the old clearcoat that isn't even dulled down, it's still shiny. I thought putting paint on clearcoat or primer on clearcoat is a bad idea because it won't stick. So in this scenario it's a bit different to mine but imagine someone doing a spot repair and only painting that small section of repair but the new paint is landing on the old clearcoat. What am I missing?
    • I was immediately reminded that your location is QLD. Sounds like a perfect SEQ business idea.
    • And if you can't drive bigger injectors with peak and hold as low impedance injectors during low pulse width, it's even harder to get a nice clean known amount of fuel.
