Base Timing For Rb20det.

I'm going to check the timing on my RB20DET and i need to know what the base timing should be set at.

It's an auto. Correct me if i'm wrong but i think this makes a difference??

Actually you are correct the Auto version of the RB20DET does have a different static timing value.

For Auto RB20DET it is 20deg btdc @ 650rpm

For Manual RB20DET it is 15deg btdc @ 650rpm

I search before everything i post. If in any of these 1,326 other threads which asked this exact same question there was a difinitive answer i would not have asked! I am sorry i have wasted your time!

Honestly if everyone searched instead of posting to ask a question there would be no new topics on this forum!
