I was told that "apparently" the Lebanese mafia are trying to take over surfers paradise..... :)

I'm lucky to see lebanese through surfers, its far too full of "australian" dickheads all pissed off their heads acting like heros trying to start fights cause they have their muscle bound mates standing behind them. ie pack mentality.

As funny as it is, maybe these "aussies" being called on should go down to surfers and beat themselves up, would sure make my life easier lol.

All jokes aside, i hope the police riot squad are down there this weekend and if anything happens, i pray the cops kick all their asses and lock em up for a long time. We don't need this racist crap starting up here.

sum1 has sent the txt msg to ppl from sydney to the goldy ppl, and just changed cronulla beach to sufers beach. no one would really bother going down there unless they are complete dickheads, or are in gangs around the goldy anyway. the rest of qld has got better stuff to do with there time, our beaches arent being targeted by gangs of thugs stealing ppls belongings. and if it is it's usually school kids on holidays bored hanging out at the beach trying to steal money and other goods to make a quick buck. but whats new from every other holiday season.

I don't agree with all the terrorism in the world, but I don't think innocent people should become victims to senseless violence.

I guess it's kinda the same as terrorism in a way isn't it, innocent peoples lives being torn apart cause of some selfish person who's apparently dying for his country.

I really hope QLD doesn't succumb to the same riots as Sydney has. But as someone said above, if they attacked the gold coast, they'd be killing asians, not australians.

I think someone's already mentioned in this thread about the fact that the news are saying whats being said in sms's which is telling everyone all over australia what is needing to be done on those behalf of the people who are organising these riots.

well i think threads posted about this type of stuff on any forum or website is also helping further notify people. once it starts here in qld, i'm sure on any forum that has a thread like this one, someone will be posting the exact sms msg as it says it on the news.

even though a forum is used as a discussion. its also another way of media.

people on tv who present the news are providing details.

those who talk on a forum are providing details.

details to another form is media content.

umm no mate i was voicing my concern becasue i dont want to go out onto the street and get bashed up for no reason, there is a difference between encouraging violence and voicing your concern, i was most definatley just voicing my concerns......

All here are trying to voice there own corcerns in their own way... No one means harm... I know it took me 10 minutes to make my last post to make sure i wrote it the way i meant it. I didnt want anyone to take offence to the way i see it...

Please everyone we are all trying to voice our corcern for the inocent.

If it happens on the coast, they will be doing more than killing just Asians. They will be killing off their livelyhood. As soon as touists stop going to the goldy, its worthless. It would back fire REALLY badly on them. I think many people forget that down there.

well said man, thats exactly how i felt

look i saw wat was going on on the news and jumped onto this forum were i know that in the past we have had very constructive discussions on various things which have helped alot of us get our head around what is going on in the world, after all the majority of us here are quit mature people( not speaking for myself haha). so i thought that a few opinions may help ease the situation, which it has. people have raised great points

it would be pointless and exremeley coward like for such a thing to happen up here. there is no excuse for it anywere. and most people here agree that it most likey wont, which is great

so keep on skylining peeps ;)

i agree queenslanders get along better then down in syd.. im asian myself i almost never seem to have problems .... i guess here we all mind our own and respect ppl .. apart from a few teenager brats..i guess some dont realise putting our differances aside we all are human with same colour blood .. ah well my 2 cents worth ...

ERrr, if they're killin asian, then I better go hide. But I cannot see that happening, any form of riot on the goldy. The year is 2005 not 1980s and Pauline Hanson has bee run out of town.

you probably find that, they be more incline to bashed the young drunken louts than any race group.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
