Hi all,
The rear driver side handbrake shoe on my car is missing the spring that is held on my a flathead pin. The result is the second shoe flaps against the rotor, making a ticking noise. I hope to find this spring from a wrecker tomorrow.
My concern is : Is it just a simple plug and play? Or do I have to adjust the shoe or anything else? Once I get the spring, do I just place it between the pin and attach it? (I dont know how this pin is retained to the shoe)
I only have tomorrow to get this fixed, hence I want to avoid any surprises. Damn car is giving me headaches!
Pic attached is of the flathead pin and of the second pin+spring thats working fine.
