  1. Thanks a ton Duncan! Cheers.
  2. Hi all, The rear driver side handbrake shoe on my car is missing the spring that is held on my a flathead pin. The result is the second shoe flaps against the rotor, making a ticking noise. I hope to find this spring from a wrecker tomorrow. My concern is : Is it just a simple plug and play? Or do I have to adjust the shoe or anything else? Once I get the spring, do I just place it between the pin and attach it? (I dont know how this pin is retained to the shoe) I only have tomorrow to get this fixed, hence I want to avoid any surprises. Damn car is giving me headaches! Pic attached is of the flathead pin and of the second pin+spring thats working fine.
  3. Thanks Ravi.
  4. Is there some sort of conversion required to switch from factory Xenon to Halogen? What about the factory Xenon booster thingy that sits behind the bulb? My GTT still has the factory setup. I dont want to butcher it too much. I am after a plug & play swap over. Or what if I get those projector headlight setups? If the HID is housed in the projector, will that be "legal"?
  5. RB30, Single Turbo, Built by NS Spec Motorsport in NZ. Just landed back in Fiji after so many years - owner shipped it over to NZ for "upgrades"

  11. Red GTT's are so nice! Good job on the interior...
  12. Thanks a lot mate. Yeah I had a chance to look more into this today and found the grove in the spline where the bolt sits. I was starting to get really worried there.. Hehe Appreciate your help. Cheers.
  13. The following is what I did to my R34 GTT (hope this helps in some way..) * my car is really low, so first I got it up on steel ramps using a few planks of timber * 1. Jacked car up from crossmember. Once desired height is reached, I placed the jack stands (grey colour) in the factory scissor jack spot. 2. Raised the rear of the car by using the diff case and placed jack stands (blue colour) at the rear factory scissor jack spots. My car has aftermarket suspension arms so using that is a no-no for me. Some may argue that using the sills to place jack stands will cause the sills to bend. I use stronger parts of the underbody to jack the car and sills for jack stands. Have attached some pics of how my car is currently sitting in the garage.. ps. Its a habit of mine to place the tyres under the car (sticking out half way) whenever I take them off - extra insurance If your doing your g'box oil then shift the tyres around as necessary..
  14. It definitely does look like the shaft could go in further.. I have tried anything yet, as I was worried I might do more harm then good. Isnt their tension on the shaft? Will this affect steering and steering rack? I'll try and give it a go tomorrow. Thanks Again, if anyone can take a pic of their car (you can see clearly under the BMC) it would be appreciated.
  15. Hi all, Firstly, please excuse me if I dont know the correct terminology but today I was doing an oil/filter change when this caught my eye. (I recently bought the car) Does the picture look right to you? Particularly the spline - shouldn't it be more inside the bracket (red arrow)? Currently the rod is sitting at the level of green arrow. Can anyone post up a pic of their car as a comparison? Thanks.
  16. Thanks buddy. Will let you know soon...

  20. Hi all, I am after the following items: 1. A set (4) of R34 GTR wheels in good condition and no damage. Will consider rims + tyres (if tyres are of a good brand and reasonable thread left). 2. Aftermarket R34 GTT (Neo) Turbo back exhaust sytem (must be in good condition and minimal scrapes). I am located in western sydney, willing to pick up the items. Call me on 0406012-eight-zero-two.
