Hey i had my car complied by them, they also put in a heavy duty clutch for me.. during compliance i ordered a high flow cat.. but they just put in a cheap crappy one.. which i didn't know about until i got my exhaust done.

i have the R33 Engine Service manual, does anyone have the manual for the rest of the car?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone can help me. My car is making a weird noise on the rear left hand side. The car makes a kind of knocking/creaking sorta sound. it is hard to describe. you can hear it when you are going slowly.. going over bumps. even under slow acceleration and braking, almost like everytime the weight is shifted in the car i can hear it. The shocks are ok and they were replaced not long ago. When you bounce the car up and down you can sort of hear it but not all the time. A mate said it could be my bushes.. what bushes are in the rear i ned names so i can check out price. Thanks all.

Hey all, My car R33 GTST pretty much has standard suspension setup, except my rear shocks were worn so i replaced them about a year ago. I'm not after anything too drastic, and i'm not too fussed about getting my car lowered, but i was wondering if getting firmer springs will make my car handle abit better.. at the moment i can feel the car roll when you go around corners. I went for a ride in a mates R33 who has a suspension setup and the handling was like 10 times better. I'm not after anything like that but just wanted to know if just getting stiffer springs will increase the handling at all. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

this may be a stupid question but will the S2 spoiler bolt straight onto a S1 boot? also is it hard to fit?

yeah i remember it was really simple.. it was done awhile ago so i can't quite remember, but he didnt take that long.. i still think $150 is too much for an install..

yeah i dont know too mucha bout them.. but my brother installed mine pretty easily 1 hour max.. you can get english instructions from the apexi website.. i got the instructions lying around somewhere.

how do you know which one is a series 1.5? mine is a 1994 model.. but the front bumper is a little diffeerent to a 1993 model just slightly.. is mine a 1.5 series?

Dude, i had this exact same problem with my car awhile back.. turns out the rear shock absorbers were stuffed.. it stopped working completely. i say more that likele your rear suspension.. go to pedders and get them to do test your shocks.. it only cost $14 or something so worht it i reckon.

is the standard head unit from a series 1 or series 2?

yeah i got a 3in exhaust from the turbo, hi-flow cat, blled valve.. running 11psi.. but on stock boost its still the same.. also i got an SAFC which may need a retune as i got it tuned before my dump pipe and hi-flow cat.. yeah i heard that 3rd gear is spose to be strong in Skylines but my 3rd gear seems a little lifeless almost like a continuation of 2nd gear like it doesnt pull any harder once i change to 3rd.

Sly33.. can i ask what mods have you done to your car?? the reason being is i too am chasing around 230rwkw and am just interested to see what the difference is between 230rwkw and my failry stock car. wouldnt mind going for a spin in your car either if thats cool.. give me a holla when you up in Sydney.

I picked my car up 94 R33 Stock excpet for Mags and steering wheel.. cost me $17,000 on road.. .. i would rather get a stock car.. also most of the cars out of Japan have had the K's wound back so i'd rather get one that looks like it hasnt been wound back.. usually you can have a general idea by the condition of the car i mean if the steering wheel is worn out and the seats are abit worn and the clock says its only done 30,000Kms thenyou know its a bit dodgy... mine has 114,0000km.. i think thats pretty good.. when you compare them to the Kms on local cars of the same age.
