4 door is slightly longer after the rear wheels. I have a Trust cat back off a 2 door and although it bolted right up , it is too short and sits under the bar instead of sticking out. When I have the time I will get it lengthened because it is discolouring the paint around it

I do mine with turlte wax extreme, worked awesome but just make sure your polishing cloth hasn't got any grains of dirt/sand because otherwise you'll end up with scratches on your lenses.

I get it no matter what fuel I use. I just polish it off every time I wash the car.

Like Mark said with good quality gear it shouldn't matter. I also have two rubicon subs facing rearwards in my boot and there is definitely no shortage of bass!

Definitely sounds like the head unit has been wired incorrectly. You'll probably find he has grounded the stereo to an interior light signal wire which shows as an earth wire until you actually switch the lights on, it then goes to +12v. I have seen this a few times before, a very common mistake when installing head units

You should still get good bass if it's set up correctly and you've got a decent sub/amp package. I'm sure that metal plate is there for a reason eg to make the rear end more rigid

I've got a mate about to put a 1UZ in a HZ ute. He wants to run the stock motor with two smallish turbos, probably stock RB25 ones. Any info on fitting it and suitable manual tranny and engine management would he awesome Thanks

I've seen a plenum from nizpro on a modded R33 in Zoom a while back, they didn't give an exact price but they said it was 'very affordable' or something like like that. Looked to use the std throttle body on the front of the plenum.
