  1. My M35 on a first tune put out 243 kw's at 19psi on 98 octane using an EMU and retaining the factory AFM. Have a look in the "what have you done to your stagea lately" thread back in November last year for the dyno chart. I'm not sure what E85 would yield as it is not really obtainable where i live at this stage. I am certainly more heavy footed when driving but i don't really notice the lagg after driving it for 2 months now (i'm not saying lag ins't there but i have certainly changed my driving style to compensate) Overall though i'm not really sure why i would ever want more power... I'm more concerned now about how the power is applied. I'm looking into things like the brake mod and things like that. I'm sure i'm not the only one that dreams of having a manual M35 too but after reading up on it for longer than any other mods i'm 99% sure it will never happen.
  2. This is very impressive. If i started my stagea journey again i would seriously consider doing the same. I reckon those G35 rims would look perfect on my M35
  3. Bump Make me an offer if you want a good stock turbo to highflow. Helpful so you don't have to have your M35 off the road while you wait for the swap over from Hypergear Cheers
  4. Had a minor o-ring issue with the access to the fuel tank and the M35 was leaking fuel after a filled the tank up but all is fixed and it's perfect once again. I got the muffler replaced today with something a little more appropriate sound-wise. Still 3 inch straight through but more factory looking. Much quieter than the Apexi N1 and the drone is much more tolerable
  5. G'day folks, I have the stock turbo that came off my M35 last week when i upgraded to the Hypergear unit. The car had about 95,000km's give or take on the odo when it was removed. Held boost fine and i never had any issues with it. Will be sold without an actuator as i'm sure i owe Scotty one. $500 firm. I also have the stock injectors (someone can probably help me out with the size as i'm not sure) $150 firm I can get some pics up and i may have a few other bits kicking about. PM me if interested Cheers
  6. So i've had a chance to drive the M35 for a few days since getting it back from tuning. My main observations it that i'm already driving a lot heavier footed when i want the car to come on boost due to the lagg but i'm really enjoying it. The car sounds amazing as it hits boost with the increased air flow however i really need to do something about the exhaust. 3 inch stainless with front / dump and Apixi N1 cannon is simply way too loud for me. Not sure what i'll do but a bit of forum trolling will hopefully find an answer. Overall i'm very happy. Big thanks for those that helped along the way. All that's left once i sort the exhaust is doing something about the front bumper (this stocky one with the parking aid has to go).
  7. I had more work done than just the tuning / few mods but if you said $3000-$3500 give or take a bit you'd be fairly close. Keeping in mind this is the first Emanage the bloke had done on an M35 so problem solving had to be done along the way. Oh, and that's not including the cost of said mods.
  8. Ok so I just picked the Stagea up and the difference is amazing. I was prepared for the lag as i have been for a ride in an auto Ceffy with about 250-odd rwkw's and after about 30 mins driving i already found myself having a heavier right foot then i was use to having to compensate. Driving in traffic the car spent most of its time off boost completely and it was only till i hit the southern expressway that i was able to have a quick squirt. The thing sounds pretty awesome as it comes on boost now and feels a lot smoother than it use too when you back off. I'll get the dyno reading up soon but for now here is the before and after Before - 147.8 kw After - 243.0 kw On 98 pump fuel What was added was ss2 Hypergear highflow, 725cc injectors, 3 inch intake, Greddy emanage ultimate and greddy profecboost controller, Trans cooler. I'll report back in once i've had a chance to drive it for a few weeks. Cheers guys
  9. that looks awesome. My Stagea still needs to drop an inch-ish all round but i already have issues with my exhaust on certain speed bumps
  10. Got a call from the bloke from Boostworx who has had my M35 for about a week and a half now. He is putting the final touches on the tune making sure he is happy with it and i should be right to pick it up tomorrow. Fun times ahead
  11. Yep Airport is closest one for me also and it still shows as being 24 hrs. Calling it my closest is a contradiction in terms tho... it's roughly 35-40 mins away
  12. I thought there was one closer to me but I was wrong.... Caltex down Seaford way does not,nor did it ever as far as i know, stock E85. Not sure of the nearest United to me but it is very annoying not to have the option
  13. email back from Jesse Streeter was informative and straight to the point... While you can pick up an aero front bumper for around the $60-$70 mark on Yahoo japan it can be anywhere from 45k to 70k yen to get it here (thats $450 to $700 shipping) through DHL. Looks like for me i'll have to just keep looking
  14. Replaced the passenger side Cam Angle Sensor cause ANNOYYYINNNGGGG!!!!!! bout 2 weeks till hypergear highflow goes in so i'm trying to get the car running as best as i can by then
  15. Good luck finding an aero front bumper in Australia. I've been keeping an eye out for ages but have had no luck. I've sent an email to Jesse Streeter about rough quotes on importing an aero front bumper so i'll let you know how i go. Cheers
  16. HDI GT2 Intercooler kit off ebay Occasionally you'll see one up for a good price as i did. From memory the normal price is around $600.00.
  17. Tis hopefully what i'm looking to avoid mate Cheers for the info
  18. Sorry to dig up an old thread but we hardly need another one... I need to pick up a trans cooler for the M35 before the 17th of next month. I have a stock M35 front bar with HID intercooler and was wondering if anyone could shed some insight into the dimension of the trans cooler they used. Cheers folks
  19. In the end no mate. I'm going to make the slightly painful drive up north to Cavan and see Shaun at Boostworx. Hopefully all goes more or less smooth.
  20. yeah mate Emanage. I've thought about it a lot and for a car that's only really driven on the weekend (besides getting me to and from the train station of a weekday) there is a limit to what i want to spend. Looking forward to the results.
  21. Ordered the last 2 bits i think i need for the next stage on my M35 (apologies to Scotty for taking up more of his spare time ) 3rd week in November has been pencilled in for tuning
  22. Very impressive. I hope to replace my factory seats one day but wanted to keep a more luxury appeal. .... and those wheels
