  1. AP in the hizzyyy! Said my n*ggas don't dance, we just pull up our pants and, Do the Roc-away. Now lean back, lean back
  2. Shame about the date change for Winton, I can't make the 14th. Sandown should be fun.
  3. Seems to be around the right price with the mods, provided things like the suspension are usable and not completely f**ked.
  4. Ginetta's are awesome looking beasts... There were a few for sale on my105 the past 12 months, I think I also saw the GT4 above on there as well. Sexy looking bit of kit.
  5. It's not an SAU track day without people scrambling to add upgrades and put their car back together in time I'll see you guys at a few rounds this year hopefully... won't be at PI though.
  6. RTR in Keysborough... http://www.roadtrackrally.com.au OTR in Clayton... http://www.ontherunmotorsports.com/ Sabbadin in Mulgrave... http://www.sabbadinautomotive.com.au/garage.php
  7. Arseholes in this world is why we can't have nice things. f**k all these scum of the earth thieves.
  8. Pedders South Melbourne do a decent job, great guys to deal with and very fair prices.
  9. Fix the date in the thread title..
  10. Maybe I should try that John to lose some weight hahah
  11. Yeah I know what that's like.. changing wheels is a hassel if your track car is also street driven. been there done that
  12. Semi-slicks have high road noise. Not really ideal for driving on the street, they will wear out quickly too.
  13. Just started my s15 track car after nearly 2 years sitting collecting dust. lol. Purring like a kitten.
  14. Also spotted Mr Bartels about 15 min ago taking his flagship silver AMG E63 out (with vic rego plate "1").... I imagine he's going to grab a nice dinner, then go for coffee, perhaps cut a few chap laps before hitting the HWY getting ready to go for some midnight wangan runs
  15. Seen a couple of McLaren MP4-12C's recently, one white one in Southbank on City Rd.. and another dark burgundy (ugly colour) on City Rd fanging it off the lights.... they sound sweet for a twin turbo v8, but the guy in the burgundy one was a c0ck for hooning in a built up area with a lot of cars and a lot of people walk around near crown.
  16. The type of motorsport days most of us attend are multi-club sprints run by various CAMS-affiliated clubs (e.g. WRX Club, Alfa Romeo Owners Club, PIARC, etc), and whilst the events are CAMS governed, we don't use the CAMS racing categories (i.e. we don't have a class 'G'). SAU Vic club championship runs under it's own class system which you can read in the motorsport thread. As for other CAMS requirements, everything you need to know is in the motorsport championship thread. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/437292-2014-sau-vic-motorsport-championship/ If your intention is to enter actual CAMS organised series such as the Victorian Supersprint Championship or Improved Production, then CAMS categories will apply - you're best to ring them and ask your questions to get official answers rather than forums.
  17. lol @ nice enough. Spotted blue r34 gtr outside iDarts @ QV
  18. Where is Martin? Is he supposed to be the current club motorosport director? I agree for people entered in the championship any changes should be reflected on the main motorsport championship thread as the primary 'source of truth'. I understand that Martin's real-world employment requires a lot of travel, but if it means he can't do the club motorsport role and update information in a timely manner... give the job to someone else. I'm not having a dig, just saying that's how it appears to be. That's pretty much what I plan to do next year Not particularly fussed about championship rounds. I'll probably throw in a couple of driver dynamics hot lap days initially to get back in to driving and shake the cobb webs out of the car... I haven't been out on the track in a longgg time
