He already has a decent setup to make a good gain with the kit without changing fuelling or AFM requirements Theres a set of x-force dumps going for $290 in the for sale section. I dunno if theyve sold already or not and are based on the HKS design (ie. split)

hmmm since you said youre on a tight budget then it makes things hard pushing 300 at the wheels is going to test a 17yo fuel system. In good condition it will handle it but if youve got gunk filled injectors then who knows For peace of mind and insurance id at least change fuel pumps. Try being on a tight budget and trying to rebuild an engine....it just doesnt happen. Outlay some insurance now. Its not as if a bosch 044 will cost you an arm and a leg. The internals will be fine as long as theyre in good health. Get a compression test and leakdown down before the turbo change. It may just give you some foresight to take it easy before you damage anything or may give you some confidence in the GT-SS or 2530 route

No probs Rav a custom job will be cheaper and they will makes the pipes run closer to the chassis if you ask them to make it for you compared to an off the shelf Jap exhaust ask the vic guys...there will be heaps of good places to go

Tekin, i dunno how serious you are with that last post but geez you float some terrible information around Why would a good flowing exhaust have 4 lots of restriction in it? (Cat, res, hot dog, muff) Rav: Youd want something with a Catalytic converter and a rear muffler/cannon (if you like sound) If you dont like sound as much go for an exhaust with a cat, middle resonator and a rear muffler/cannon.

faaarrrkkk, well a 3 inch or a 3.5 inch are both gonna be good and it comes down to price. Go with what you can afford I doubt youll reach the limit of the 3 inch but in extreme applications the 3.5 inch is obviously gonna be better flowing than a similarly designed 3 inch exhaust

how come nobody goes to an engine builder directly and only recommend workshops who in turn palm some of the work off to their machinists? surely it would be cheaper to go directly to the one place and cut out some of the middle man? Im not stating anything, im curious to know

Quality brand known for low noise on cruise and a great howl on boost. Basically a 3 inch pipe through an oval body=great flow 1x Alpine CDM-7829E CD deck $10 Came out of GFs WRX so would be late 90s design. Fully operational and a good upgrade from a tape player. 25x4W Set 32 GTR Handbrake and Gearboot cover SOLD Great condition for their age. No rips or burns.
