  1. woops i read it as Power FC, not AFC...disregard my post
  2. perhaps he checked the oil by pulling out the dipstick to look at the colour and possibly the smell of the oil to determine its life
  3. check the other thread on the same subject in the 'forced induction' section. its titled something along the lines of 'Mysterious power FC missfire' the power FC is known to 'cut out' for a brief micro second while cruising.
  4. when was it that you actually could 100% say it was from the body of the injector leaking and not anything else?
  5. just thought id add my experience. ive previously used a power FC in a GTR and it did the same 'miss' when cruising at light loads, say, every couple of days. sort of felt like the CAS was cutting out. wasnt like a slight 'pop' miss either, more like a hard jolt
  6. thanks to the few guys who sent PMs im still after a hose around $10-$15 bucks..preferebly non-braided
  7. still chasing a set or one
  8. repco can order in injector service packs that arent too expensive from what i remember
  9. sorry off topic... how much did it cost you to get your injectors cleaned?
  10. do you regularly run your car low on fuel? has the same fuel filter been in there a while? if YES, then theres a good chance the injectors are slightly clogged with sediment from the tank and open again when enough fuel pressure backs up and forces them to squirt open. try taking them out and getting them cleaned, or try a mates' injectors in there.
  11. weve gone a bit off topic here i dont think the issue is copyright, rather its that someone elses tune is not going to be perfect for your car and will be just as far off 'perfect' as the stock power FC values. therefore, around in circles we go
  12. stuart, the stock map wont be too bad to drive around on for a while until you get a proper tune with AF meter. someone elses tune doesnt take into account the differences in your setup ... eg. clogged injectors, lazy fuel pump etc. your rb26 is essentially stock and the stock 32 GTR FC map wont be too far off
  13. isnt that the Pintle cap steve?
  14. youll find that going from an rb30et to an rb26 in terms of response will be a big step down even if the 26 is stock turboed. now, planning to put on 25/30s will make it a even more laggy and a huge shock. thats ok if you dont mind the lag, but if you plan to drive the car mainly on the street then you may be a little disappointed. if you like that low-mid torque of the rb30, then stick with the GT-SS turbos as they offer similar spool to the stockies. i know i noticed a big response difference with a stock turboed 32 GTR after driving a mildy modified 30et and stock rb25 for the last few years.
  15. pfc fixes it as driver said wont be o2 sensor cause you wont be in closed loop when the car is cold and accelerating/ changing gear all the time
  16. once i cleaned the AFM on my old 33 gtst i got 600-620 / tank! in the GTR im lucky to get around 520-540 / tank
  17. i would say its due to the cold fuel maps in the ecu being a little rich when the water temp is still cold. when the engine is warm the fuel map looks a lot different to what it did when it was cold. ie, a more suitable AFR so that better combustion takes place and you dont get that excess of fuel creating the jerks and stuttering. my standard ecu on my 32 GTR had a terrible cold start (same as what you described earlier)....changed it to a power FC and the standard cold start map suited the car a lot better and was smoother.
  18. Hi guys desperately need right rear rubber brake line for an R32 GTR because mine has perished and leaked everywhere. Its the line that goes to the caliper from the metal brake line. looking for a stock replacement with connectors in place so i dont have to muck around getting new ones made up possibly even need 2 (one for the rear left) thanks
  19. the pic was posted to give us an idea of what the paint colour was
