is it possible, during the rebuild, that a gasket wasnt sealed properly on one or more of the throttles, creating an air leak of un-metered air?

also, you can wash some 50/50 mix of metho and kero through it a few times did it on my car and fuel economy picked up quite a bit

well the t cut didnt work on the windows...next haha ill give CLR clear a go on the windows next thanks for the input guys

i did mine last week with a fine paint brush and red paint from a spray can. sprayed the paint into the lid so it pooled and used plentiful paint so that the brush didnt streak. if the paint goes onto the chrome outline, then scratch if off with your nail looks as good as new

not really white like you would see in the bathroom, moreso, car thats been left in the rain and had the sun bake on the stains into the paint what do you suggest if its calcium? ive been slack and havnt tried anything yet also, i didnt want to try t-cut just yet cause it is quite harsh on the paint (owing to past experiences)

Power FC time issit!!

ive seen a stock, good black paint and interior 32 GTR sell in a caryard for $18k when i was browsing one day. If dealers are selling apparently good stock ones with engineers report and warranty for $18k then you should be able to find one for around the same amount privately theres one in the for sale section going for 17.5K which seems neat..have a look!

i cut mine out a couple of weeks ago with wire cutters and then the bits that i couldnt cut, pulled out. took me 10 mins

get some pics up!!! this thing sounded like it had some gear on it. have you found out what turbos are down there? i spoke to the owner for around half an hour on the phone cause i was going to drive down there to see it. i asked him about the faults on the car (to save me driving 3 hours and being pissed off) and the first thing he said that it was only running the rear wheels. he even said that he had got quotes from a workshop in bunbury to fix. wasnt aware? pfff no way! seemed to be going for a good price too

poor GTRs dont like surviving on uni wages any more than a uni student does in regard to what needs checking: its all above, weve told you. we cant do much more unless you get a reading of the fault codes or use some intuition and take apart the piping, pull out the AFM's and get them tested. An auto electrician can test stuff like coil power packs , AFMs etc if you dont have the right tools if you cant afford the call out then it may be best to bite the bullet and sell the car. shes got a big belly and likes to eat your cash

i wouldnt put them on my pool table all that weight going through the bolts and into the cloth would make it all bumpy and dimpled

jay: is this the blue GTR from busselton? if so, the seller was aware that it was only running 2wd

we dont know....we havnt seen a pic provided no structural part of the car has been tampered with, then it should be fine

you wont need to rebuild the engine for 400rwhp provided the motor is already in good health and you get a safe tune

just feels like the r32 cold fuel map is a little too rich and it coughs and splutters everywhere. soon as water temp reaches 80 degrees (approx) then you obviously change to the warm map where fuel and ignition suit the car better. perhaps the cold start of the Power FC is better suited than the factory ecu? im changing over soon so should be able to let you know im sure others have already changed to the FC and would be able to share experiences
