  1. There will be plenty of difficulties tryint to make them work but at the end of the day, more track/tyres has gotta count for something. The main reason I wanna do it is that my car is well ballanced now and if I go for the power by 60-70kw's I want then I need to up the tyre. I'm really only going for GTR size tyres (265-285) so I can beat them with 200-300kg's less of 4wd crap. If it works on a GTR why wouldn't it work for it's little brother?
  2. WOW! That's insane. Prob be hard to make a 295 work on a car that light without the aero of Berry's 34. Yeah my 18x9 +22 RS's nearly hit the suspention up front with 235 tyres! I'm amazed that you fitted your 19's on your 32 Ben? Did you put em on the front or back?
  3. Yep I was thinking the same. Perhaps 15mm spacer if possible.. I was hopeing to get them under pumped GTR guards front and rear... Don't really like bolt on. My next step is to put some 265/35/18's on my SL's and trial spacers. 20mm is most likely. No time atm though. If it's a silly idea then that makes 2 of us haha. Check out my fb photo's when I trial fitted with 25mm spacer (no tyre)
  4. Good to see Ben! I have a set of 18x10.5 +15 TE37 SL's that I'm trying to fit under mine. It's a bit of a mission with inner front guard clearance. Spacers will be required! Time attack is where it's at!
  5. Sorry haven't checked this for a while. Forgot about it. You still have the guards?
  6. New time for me too. Circuit Name: Phillip Island Lap time: 1:48.004 Natsoft here: http://www.natsoft.com.au/cgi-bin/results....2010.PHIL.S22.Y
  7. Great Deca, Looking forward to seeing the results! Thanks to Bec, Ryan, Leon, Wayne, Anna, Sandeep, Mick, Joey and all the others that put up with the sun so we could all drive. Champions! Without you we won't be having deca's!
  8. I'd be happy with a 23.1 at Sandown. Still a clear sec quicker than me. Not sure where my time has gone on that track? I carry enough speed at turn 6 kink (almost slide through there) and brake as late as possible at nearly every corner... I think it's just drive out of the corners there that I struggle with and bouncing ripple strips may not be the best approach. If you think that a 23.1 sells it short i'm looking forward to what comes next with your car. You've been right about almost everything that a rwd skyline (non-Big Red haha) is capable of on semi's so a 21 isn't out of the question.
  9. haha. More driving required! Track days are a little bare these days.
  10. Just to let the motel know.
  11. Don't know if it matters to your organisation but I won't be there friday night now. Tim and dean will be still. I'm coming up friday during the day now.
  12. That's not true mate. You've just gotta stop tinkering and start driving!!!
  13. Are you coming up anyway? Just do it.
  14. I was away with work. sorry I missed it.

    Trackdays

Not likely as there were a few of us there yesterday. Not sure if anyone else is in a position to hit the track again this year.
  17. Rob/Dave Talk to me as I have 2 sets here I will be selling after Deca. Plus Grant lives next door and he has his set too.
  18. I've been informed it's an ex-Nascar engine with custom 4wd system in the old 260Z shell. Kevin Mackrell is the driver. Absolutly crazy speed in a straight line! That's what I'm there for
  19. Great event with the sun even breaking through the clouds every now and then. PB for Ant and I've finally got a time for PI! Results I'm stoked with a 48. Faster than I expected on tyres that are now 14 months and 7 track days old. Missed ya Bris. You'll have to make up for it at deca
