Yeah very happy with that. It's an XR6 Turbo, not F6. The fastest run I did was when it bogged a bit. Doesn't seem to hurt as much with a bigger engine (compared to RB20). The run that I bogged a bit was a 2.133 60' and my best was a 2.07 60'. If I took out the spare wheel, jack, rubber mat etc it would prob do 13.2 but if I really cared about drag I would buy an auto. I guy was doing 12.8's with an auto that had done a few more k's but still standard.

There were a few evo's but overall a very jap-less night at the drags. 2 or 3 skylines and maybe 4 evo's. Lot's of V8's all over the place. I got like 7 runs. Best was a 13.32 @ 106mph in the ute. Not bad for a completely standard car with 3000k's on it.

Prob just me but I'm sure there would be at least a couple of GTR's there.
  4. but those shell were probably undamaged.

I'm going to the drags friday night. Anyone else going? Come say hi I'll be in the Bright green FG XR6 Turbo ute. I'm interested to see what it'll run as a completely stock car.
  7. Ahh.... Yes...
  8. Hub rings? Do you mean spacer because I though Subaru's were 5x100. Is it an adaptor for 114.3 to 100?
  9. haha. The 'require' is refering to track days 'require' 2 balls.
  10. What??? Sorry times indeed Bas...
  11. Ok well I was only going by the wear that I have seen on mine and others KU36's vs my AO50's on a 32 GTSt. I did one motorkhana and the KU36's were great but wore a lot and most of that was on a concrete skid pan! My AO50's have done multiple track days and haven't gone down much at all??? We've obviously had different experiences then.
  12. Mate that's a lot to be asking for what is basically a shell with a common engine that you can buy for $500. Not trying to be mean here but thats what I think if you're trying to get rid of it quick.
  13. That's so dumb coz that's where speed bumps will rip the exhaust off! Is there a maximum height that speed bumps are allowed to be? haha
  14. Not always the case. Comparing real semi's to 'road' semi's like KU36's is more about construction than tyre compound. I reckon the 36's are about as soft as my advan AO50's and bridgestone RE55's (real semis), but if I was doing track work the KU36 would be destroyed and the AO50 or RE55 would be only half as worn. It all comes down to heat really. DRFT31 - Depends how often you wanna replace tyres really. KU36's will wear a lot more. How deep are your pockets? My opinion - 200rwkw's go the 31's. They're 265's afterall, how much grip do you need? Try Traction tyres, or option 1, or OTR motorsport for prices.
  15. If you're from sydney. Go to superlap. It will answer your question.
  16. Which car?
  17. what's the hub inside diameter?
  18. I'll be at the calder drags I think.
  19. You should also mention that it needs half a firewall where the old numbers have been cut out.

So awesome! so is it a roadpacer ute with rotary or an aussie import? I can't read jap. edit** just read above it's a 253 so really an aussie car.
  21. I have entered open class so will not be able to help out.
  22. Just get it tested when you get an EPA. Seriously 90db is rediculously quiet.
  23. Until the helmet goes on...
  24. I prefer threats anyday haha. Funny thing was that my V8 commodore was ridiculously loud and an EPA would have been fine so I would have an excuse to put a muffler on it. That notice never came... Then the suprise EPA on the skyline was a nightmare!
