  1. I failed at 92db with a stock cat back exhaust. Front pipe was aftermarket. Went back with new rear muffler and it was 84db. Just a heads up if going for a noise test. What the guy at the exhaust place told me (they do epa tests too) is to run your car for at least 5 mins to get the cat converter hot. He reckons when it's hot it is about 2db quieter.
  2. I would like to do this. Still unsure with other commitments. Definitely need more laps there.
  3. I say that every time...
  4. me either...
  5. No good man... Just put an RB20 in there... Looks like i've missed the boat too with open class. I'll still be there for a look. Dane. Talk to me first if you have to pull out.
  6. You're alive? I didn't even know you had a GTR? I'll probably come down now that I have a registered skyline again.
  7. Top photo's Rob. Makes me wish I was there drifting again...
  8. Nice drifting on MW sweeper haha.
  9. So were you picking up all the cones when they got knocked over? It's just a waste of time when it's slippery enough as it is. I prefer controlled sliding rather than uncontrolled sliding. I think results will be up in the next day or 2
  10. Nup. It sucks balls...
  11. Nup. It sucks balls...
  12. that 32 looks awesome Brock. So low...
  13. Good stuff mate. 90deg water temp is good mate. Considering at the drift days you stop for a few mins between laps.
  14. Wrap up Fred
  15. It's on the hume. Just after wallan turn offs.
  16. Well i didn't get back from my road bike tour in time but did go past on a harley and saw some cars there.
  17. ^Wow that's harsh.^ I cleared mine EPA today. Even a standard 32 cat back exhaust was 93 db so it failed yesterday, everything else was ok except the guy thought I had diff fuel pump coz it was noisy. Pulled it out and its nissan Had to get a new muffler and it made it 84 db today. It's been 6 months and I will finally have it back on the road.
  18. diagram would be more correct.
  19. Just plan to drive it up and back and if something happens then get a tow truck.
  20. Good work mate.
  21. Any newish falcon ute will be fine. 1 tonner suspension is well suited to that. Still not sure if they'll like the idea of towing an approx 2000kg's.
  22. Just drive it up and pay for a tow home if something breaks. It's a bit hard when you have to hire trailer and tow car...
  23. I won't buy the R888's again because I don't think they are as good but I can also confirm they last WAY longer than any other semi! Also they may be better for heavier cars.
