  1. Yeah good idea. How bout I beat campbell in my new boat? I wanna try out this launch control stuff.
  2. no. you have the choice of cams or AASA
  3. As if. It's just not Deca if you don't sleep with some bloke with a beard.
  4. lots! at least my engine wouldn't blow up with that much BOOST! RB20s rock!
  5. haha yes cum balls. You're so clever.
  6. Campbell the comedian... Nice forum name homo.
  7. I was thinking off track antics. haha
  8. I'm in Melbourne. My number is 0421332860.
  9. My mate borrowed his dads sorento last year to tow my car to superlap (from wodonga-sydney) and it was frieken awesom. It now has a chipped ECU so it would be even better. Best tow car I've been in. I know the modern diesels are good but it's still the devils fuel Plus I'm 25 with no kids. I don't want to be an old man yet. What would I do with so many seats? i have considered the Navara. Maybe in a few years a 4dr 4wd diesel ute would be good.
  10. Awesome turbo for RB20!
  11. You will have to prove you have what it takes. This Deca might be your chance! What's stopping you? Out of the country?
  12. First sessions at track days normally are not timed so it's a good chance to do it then.
  13. Trailer only cost me about $500 in a 5 way share. The way I figure it is if the auto falcon can be rated to 2300kg's on the same chassis then the only weakness is the driveline in the manual so should be as 'safe' as the auto even if it is illegal. Looks like the turbo is the only option for at least a few months. Then boss engine in the XR8 is being retired for a 5ltr 307kw V8. Can't get a boss 290 at all now.

  15. Yep. Noted. I agree but I'm not going out to buy a 4WD or F100 guzzler for the 6 times a year I use the trailer.
  16. Well I've towed the same setup on a 1200kg tow bar coz I didn't have anything else. I know it won't be legal but I'll pay the fine. I think it would be over engineered and 1600 is conservative. Manufacturers would have to be on the conservative side. Yeah but would be a pigg to drive around.
  17. Well my trailer weighs 700 and I'll say my gtst is about 1300 so I just scrape in under 2000kg.
  18. yeah thanks for the comments. I really want a manual and i know that it's rated at less but I'll be getting an aftermarket heavy duty (2000kg) tow bar. will prob wear out the clutch. I only tow every couple of months so hopefully it will be ok. Gotta be better than my VS SS. I've just read on the ford forums that they flog out tailshaft uni's. Might need to beef up the suspension so it's not dragging on the ground. I really don't want an old 4WD. They may have the weight to make it legal to tow with but they're slugs. and uncomfortable.
  19. Thread revival. I am looking at buying an FG Falcon XR8 or XR6T in manual. Has anyone towed their car and trailer behind one of these? thoughts? issues?
  20. Having a time board will be a major improvement over last year. I was gunna be a flaggy with $880 cost for open. Now that it's cheaper I'll prob drive. I wanna see a timetable first. 2 day event should make it better value.
  21. Evo I assume?
