  1. Keep in mind all clutch places have different options. Simply saying I tried an x brand clutch and it sucked doesn't mean they all suck.
  2. Interesting approach. Looking forward to the results .
  3. The injectors won't fail. Its the ecu adding too much fuel. Which is fixed by tuning it, if its a series 2. If you have a series one you have less options available.
  4. Oh yeah. And fuel economy, driver comfort and safety. Cars are annoying
  5. Good work man. And thanks for updating the thread.
  6. Yep. It sucks. That's why the sensible choice is spend the cash on a fast stock car. Easy insurance, servicing, warranty, resale.....
  7. I like the way you say you aren't new to the net but failed a quote edit. Anyway, as Duncan kindly provided, and you figured out, just raising the boost on a stock ecu really isn't goiin to provide fantastic results.. As has been mentioned numerous times before.
  8. As per the title, I have a friend who is a pattern maker and fiberglass wiz who would be able to make some sub boxes if the demand is there to be worthwhile. Similar style to th fgoh boxes that were popular years ago. At this stage just feeling out for interest, price likely around 250. So, what are your thoughts ? Interested? Suggestions? Wish list? Hit me..
  9. Silly factory computer. Its such a wimp.
  10. If your a mechanic just look at issues other 25 year old cars have. Heater hoses, clutch, leaks, etc. And then look how annoying it is to repair that on an rb26. Gho5t daily drives a 32 gtr and will likely add his input soon.
  11. Also clean AFM. Unplug AFM while idling and if it idles fine that is likely the issue. Check for boost leaks in pipework. Google how to.
  12. No worries man. Give more info about the car. Any mods? Be specific as usually its something that is easily found but because not enough info is given it takes ages. An aftermarket bov will cause idle issues typically if the car is otherwise stock.
  13. On top of the million other threads from others about a miss fire .
  14. 2 threads? This must be important.
  15. Where did you hear that info? Why do you doubtimg it? Are you new to the internet? Your not the first to raise the boost on a stock turbo.
  16. Crimp off return line to raise fuel pressure.
  17. The numbers on the pack don't mean much. You need to search for the actual viscosity at 40 and 100 degrees and go from there. Its got a name that I've forgotten.
  18. Is that how it left the Dyno? The last graph you posted? I would hardly consider that a safe tune.
  19. I voted for the other guy.
  20. Yep. Nothing is your responsibility or fault.
  21. Are you talking to a mirror ? Haha. Got you good. So just to clarify you expect people to figure out what you need and your goals and budget based on the smallest amount of info possible, and if they don't they are a f head? Wow.
  22. Seeing as the advice will be helpful for you, and take time to write, why not take the time to write a decent post asking for help? Then people will be more inclined to take their time to help you.
  23. I like the way you write your posts. I can tell you are excited. Too excited to make sense.
