IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE !! Wider tyre would mean more rubber on the road. Again, I stress that I enjoy Acceleration - not much else interests me. Cornering is nice but I don't intend to speed around corners. I guess my joy is the kick back, the 0-60/100. Also, I think I'd stick with dry tyres as in the wet with high kW's - I wouldn't do anything stupid - when it rains, I'm a grandma driver and I'm happy with that becuase in the dry that's where I have the fun. But yeah, I guess it is things I have to consider. I'll need to ponder on whether or not I want to mod. This insight has been great. Cheers guys !

A Garret something worth of $1,500 (If they exist) haha Would there be extreme differences in driving when you say "Learn to drive with that much power"? I'm guessing the wet will be my worst nightmare - I hate driving in the wet as it is haha

The bold I already have - but it seems $5,000 seems to be the number. I'll most likely do backyardy for the stuff I know I can do (By I, I mean Bro in law and perhaps Rob if he was keen to molest Rosie - which would be HD Clutch, Coilpacks haha). Okay sweet - that's good to know - what PSI would I be running with that?

Is anything else required for that? ECU, Turbz, Fuel Pump and tune?

I also have one more question ! (so busy at work today hahaha ) Okay well, my long term goals for car ownership was planned to go like this: Long Term: 1. Buy a skyline (R33 GTST) - Keep this thing until it dies (sold it as it couldn't pass pits) 2. Purchase R34 GTT - Keep this as a daily, a stepping stone until I can purchase a R34 GTR (The Dream). 3. Do no mods to Rosie as I have no intention to keeping it (wasting money) - Get R34 GTR and mod the FUAK out of it. 4. Pending work perm and a personal family deal (Rob knows about this one), however, it looks as if purchasing a R34 GTR might be quite awhile down the track (longer than I anticipated - I knew it was going to be couple years but may turn into several). SO ! What I was thinking, since a new purchase might be quite a few years away - why not mod a car that is meant to be moded, ROSIE !. My question is - very briefly (Do not want to waste peoples time) How much would bigger Turbz + supporting mods roughly cost? I figured around the $5,000 mark ECU+Tune = $2,000 Turbz = $1,500 - $2,000? Fuel pump - ? Other - ? Now, this is all hersay as I need to have a figure in the ball park to even consider modding Rosie but I have done a bit of reasearch and that's all I have come up with

And is this gear change / throttle action that I do healthy? It normally happens when I do a slow gear change from 3rd-2nd and light on the throttle (Coming up to a 90 degree turn).

I notice when slowing up - mainly in gear changes from 4th to 3rd or even 3rd to 2nd. It's a bit of a "Crackle Pop (Bang)". I imagine a HUGE ass flame is coming out the exhaust but I'm sure this is not the case. I'm guessing it's more of what Duncan has said - unburnt fuel. Can this damage anything in the exhaust? I do like when it happens, however, I rather it not happen if it is damaging something. p.s I'm still a noob when it comes to cars
