I think the only manly and fair thing to do is start a voting thread to find out once and for all which GTR is the more desirable. I know it's not a honorable and just thing to do, but damn I'm tempted as I think the R33 GTR would come up on top or very close to the R34 GTR with the R32 coming last. You mentioned Lady GaGa...she reminds me of the R32...ugly, flat chested and no curves or booty. She ugly yo! LOL Plus if you're so cashed up which is admirable, then why are you driving a R32 GTS instead of a GTR if you like it some much that has a lot to say about a man that defends the hell out of the R32. Don't get me wrong, I don't differentiate and judge GTR and GST owners, but you drive a GTS so how can you talk about a GTR? Again folks, this is all just in good fun and passion for our cars not meant to be disrespectful in any way. -

I may turn gay for a millisecond for you if this is what you want. Nothing sexual of course. ? -

Cheers mate...but to be honest, I don't drive crazy on the road and to be quite honest never had the time to take my GTRs to the track...yet due to work and family commitments so cannot see this happening but of course AWD is part of why the GTR has stood the test of time in the handling department. -

Interesting and fair explainaton. It’s wonderful to see everyone’s individual taste come out, I mean if we all have the same liking then we’d all marry the same girl/guy, eat the same foods, dress the same and all drive the same Skyline! -

It kinda does you know. I’m a little baffled what your point is too. -

Interesting view...I’ve heard a few people actually say RWD is more fun. But how? -

Totally agree on the GTR taillights. R33 and R32 best then they crapped on it with the R34 and kinda return to the R33 look with the R35! -

Let’s get something clear...the R33 GTR is not fat but is curvy there is a difference. It’s like saying a man is muscular vs fat or a woman is fat vs curvy. To your analogy, I like my cars curvy just like I do my women. I guess you like yours body and flat! ? I dislike the R32 GTR most as it’s jist toi sticky skinny and flat in the wrong ways. My personal preferences in terms of looks: 1. R33 GTR 2. R34 GTR 3. R32 GTR 4. Skyline 2000 GTR 5. Skyline Hakosuka GTX 6. R35 GTR piece of dog crap bird shit excuse -
Process in getting a car engineered?
Robocop2310 replied to Robocop2310's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Agreed. It's as if they have quotas to meet or something. Whenever I drive my cars out, I kinda feel like a criminal it's just sad and I don't hoon or anything. -
Well, I'll be damned. Either way it's unique looking for sure.
-
Well, wouldn’t an engineers certificate impress you more if you were after a stock GTR and forking out $70k-$100k?

Exactly! The quoted price is just for the assessment then it’s a blank cheque for what that’s needed! Not worth the exercise or money! -

I agree mate. Might not bother as it potentially could return my car to stock and cost thousands! -
If you want to increase the value even a bit more, get an engineers certificate which will set you back $1k-$2k but will make it so much more attractive to own and proves it’s stock as a rock!
-
Totally agree with other posts. Nowadays it’s very rare to find a GTR with such low mileage in good condition. If the case, definitely keep it stock and put it under a car cover.

Robocop2310 replied to Robocop2310's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Hey guys, so I rang a local engineer and was quoted between $1,200 to $2,000 to have my car engineered which includes a full assessment, summary of how to comply if any defectable mods found and also a full report at the end which will take 1-4 weeks. From initial discussions there is no way I would pass an inspection. For this money with almost certain failure I would tend to think this is an extensive exercise. Cheers -

I own both the R33 & R34 GTR has must say the R33 GTR is my favourite looks tougher in all aspects and love the curves. Allow me to be clear...I’m referring to GTR only - the R33 GTS’s look ugly I’m sorry. -

Performance aside, the Z-Tune looks much better.
