  1. Will come along to see if I can learn something.
  2. The way I understand it is that you are only responsible for the damage you caused to the car directly in front of you. If they ran into someone else, then they pay for that damage. Might be best to call your insurance company and ask them - will be cleared up in no time.
  3. ^^^ Its already illegal. RIP - Thoughts are with family and friends of those invovled.
  4. BUMP Reminder that pre-pay prices will finish on Friday (14/07). Any amounts not paid by this Friday will go back up to full price. Thanks guys,
  5. Yeah congrats Patrick
  6. OK the thing about insurance companies is if you are breaking the law, your insurance 'can' become void. Ie. You could be drunk, speeding, driving a car you shouldnt be driving, pretty much anything illegal. Any of these things 'can' be gorunds for an insurance company not paying out. It will be up to the discreation of the insurance company whether they pay you or not. Might be worth a phone call to them - with a hypothetical scenario.
  7. Any chance you can do one of these OLT things at a track in Vic before we go north??? Or is it a NSW thing?
  8. Yep - they suck too. I swear to god, getting your license in Vic is waaaay too easy - honestly a monkey could do it!!!
  9. Hahaha Ash - I was thinking the same thing. We get dumped with a pile of mobiles and watches near the finish line.

  11. GOOD. Get some of the crap, retarded drivers off the Monash. I am referring to the drivers out there who love to tailgate and/or use mobile phones while driving. I think this is a awesome idea. Remember - dont break the law and you wont get caught

  19. Key word is INSPECTION. They look the car over and list all the problems.
  20. When I bought my Subaru a couple of years back, I looked into getting a RACV inspection done. My thoughts were it was too expenisve and too much hassle. I have a family friend who is a mechanic, so I took the car for a test drive, drove it straight to his place(worked it out with him before hand of course), got him to look at it - DONE. I would suggest perhaps you do the same thing with a mechanic you know or trust - if you slip him $50-$100, im sure he'd travel to the dealer and look at the car for you. PS. Im thinking 8.30 - 4.30 means they will do the inspection at some time between those hours.
  21. Thanks Al - im sure we would have known it was you minus the _.
