Had a really good day, good work by the organisers, the event ran through the day perfectly. Made me want my car finished even more now that the season is all back up and running... Any hoo... once I recovered from the ride up in Frysie's car i set about getting some footage. I've thrown together a bit of a clip with some of the days action... Do you want like a mixed together sorta of clip... with music and editing and stuff or just the raw footage? Also do you want deca just gone only or clips from any deca... I can probably have a bit of a play tonight....

Alan & leewah, i have some footage of both your cars; I can knock up a quick compilation and put it on youtube if you want. If you want it in high res then i would need some webspace to put them on cause they will be massive. Fryise... get over it! You will have to come round and see it for yourself in high res...

GOD DAMN FLIES!!!!!!!! ne hoo.. Had a top day... Speaks pretty well of an event like this if you can still have a real good time even if you are not competing.. I did get some filming done.. but by the end of the day i just could not be bothered so managed to score some rids with people.. I've knocked up a quick vid with some of my footage... its pretty rough, but you get the idea... Thanks to the organisers, and hopefully i will be there next year some time with my car

Heh Heh The 79 Toyota is ME Dunno whats goin on there... Ne hoo... I spose i had a pretty shit day. After a couple of months using every free hour i could to fix my car... i made it to sandown... At some stage druing the 4 laps of the practice i appear to have spun a big end bearing.. Bad Times..... Oh well these things happen... time for some more work to be done.. (and more cash to be spent) Any way i finally got around to getting the vids of my camera and posting them up. The Corona, This was my last practice lap, thought i'd start to build up the pace... From the camera footage i reckon it was about a 1:41.. for what its worth. If you listen closely you can hear the sound of my engine eating itself...(i couldn't hear it at the time, through the helmet) Bigbird putting down a 1:32.8 in the racing SIL80 The mighty B puts down a 1:43.02 LAG in the Datto with a 1:31.7 The LAG gives the Sandown Armco some lovin! The footage is not great for some of them, especially the sound... was filmed with a pretty cheap lipstick camera. Any wayz, Bring on next year... hopefully with a new engine Enjoy

Ahoyhoy I've fab'ed up a camera mount that bolts into the rear jesus bar mounts in my car. I’ve noticed that a few people have a similar setup that race at the club days. Just wondering what sorts of measures are required for actually mounting the camera to the mount. I'm assuming the little M8 bolt in the bottom will not suffice. Ideas?

Hey all just got back... awsome weekend... the liver and kidneys are struggling after drinking only burbon and coke the whole weekend (apart from 1 bottle of gatarade and a bottle of lemonade ) Everyone was punching out some good times which was really good to see... of the boys that i went down with there was; of course frysie with a 1:55.22 giving him 2nd in his class and 8th outright 2 mates in SR20 powered 1600's running around the 2:02 mark, both suffering turbo gasket blowouts a SR20 power Bluebird trx running a 2:10 also with turbo gasket problems and as a tribute to a good handling package... the winner of the SAU dyno day lowest power (50.7rwkw) the mighty datto 180b with a 2:16.53 on street tires all apart from frysie running for the first time at PI good weekend... Also thrown in a small selection of pics..

Yeah i saw heaps of people out there taking photos.. wheres all the pics??? especially whoever was at the second last corner... i got a bit of sidewayz action out of the tight righthander at the bottom of the hill saw some guy taking shots there...

Whats the dillio with the WRX club not having any thing about this on their forums... was just looking for the comfirmation of payment and forms list like they usually have.
