  1. close gaps on the plugs a little more, and make sure there all same gap spot on. .7 gap would most probly solve your issue
  2. where are these filters available? Got a link or pic of one?
  3. Hi all Mate is getting married at start of may next year, he owns a r34 gtr and would like to use it as his wedding car aswell as some other nice skylines (prefferebly gtrs, but open to offers} If any one is interested, please let me know, costs would be covered etc by him . looking for approx 3-4 other cars Reply or pm if interested.
  4. Yea i would agree the internal wastegates would need bigger, but would think 3.5" would be near big enough. Mine made 434rwkw through the full exhaust 3.5" to 3" rear half, 436rwkw with it just the 3.5" dump. What rpm you get 20+ psi with the rb30 and gt-rs?
  5. I put the filter close to where the tube comes out he gearbox, aprox 200mm away. That way you dont see it.
  6. Yes, similar to that filter pictured but bigger, to suit a carby car engine. Flow direction is drawn on filter.
  7. I had the same issue, i put a common clear plastic fuel filter ( for a carby engine) in the middle of the breather hose and ran the end to up behind the head (as per factory). This fixed the problem, the fuel filter acts as a oil/ air separator, and only cost a few $.
  8. Did it make much more power with the exhaust? And is the wastegate plumbed back in? On my 26/30 i have a 3.5" dump to 3" at mid car, dropping the exhaust half way so it was just 3.5" dump pipe only made 3kw more power on dyno. My exteral wastegate is vented to atmosphere so takes some pressure out the exhaust.
  9. What size exhaust and what make/ size cat?
  10. Thats a big difference, how does that 900hp compare to an aussie dyno rwhp?
  11. No problem reusing them several Times, i use the brush-on permatex number 3,its non- hardening, i never had one leak.
  12. You set your desired idle rpm, and it will control the valve to acheive that rpm, air con on it can idle up. Never had an issue with mine either.
  13. Is that the same rolla u had years ago darren?
  14. How far away is the 31 from hitting the track darren? Be good to see it out there
  15. The aquamist system has a fail safe trigger to send a signal to the ecu, it incorporates a tank level sensor and a water flow sensor. Once set up the flow sensor will trigger fail safe if the flow is higher or lower than normal due to either a leak (flow would be high) or blocked nozzle (flow be low).
  16. Sounds like a nice set up. How many extra rpm to hit full boost?
  17. How many extra rpm is full boost with the new housing, do you have an old graph to post up? When you say another 60hp, is that at wheels or flywheel? Also what engine and head you using?
  18. So a fair bit lighter than a gtr.? Should go over 140mph now.
  19. Ido09s:- what power to run 136mph, and what car?
  20. Bogs down off the line, u need rb30, that will fix it. I launch at 4200rpm and still struggle with wheel spin.
  21. Mine was from a guy on the forums that used to make them, came with bolts etc. i cant see how people can charge $800 for a laser cut piece of 10mm steel with holes tapped in, i thought $450 was expensive.
  22. My adapter plate was $450, plus bit of time for me to drill and tap holes to fit
  23. RB08 would be crazy fast then.
  24. Xgtrx, If i put a rb20 in my gtr, is it going to be faster than a rb26?
  25. Not sure if he still races these days
