  1. Well it looks like I was too late Also Dark - I don't think the average person cares how much effort went into a particular picture or whether it just used filters. Most people just care about if it looks cool or if it has a novelty value - the comic entry has both.
  2. I really like Dark's vector drawing (i think thats what its called), and really really like what he has done to the surroundings. But I don't think they mash together. If he had done the whole picture in vector, or done the whole picture with that sick effect I would have voted for him. I really like justin's as well, and the comic book is a cool idea (but it's let down by the impact font - I don't think it's appropriate for the comic book). So I'm going with frinik's hand drawn picture. It looks crazy
  3. Hi, I'm hoping to replace my rims soonish with TE37's (don't ask about how I'm getting the money for them - I have absolutely no idea yet :S) I was wondering how much I could realistically ask for the rims currently on my R34. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they are 5stud. I would be selling them with tyres (Nankang tyre's as new) http://www.nsperformanceclub.com/R34/ That's what they look like (very similar to the R33 GTR wheels). Two of the wheels have minute scratches on them, but I would get them repaired before selling them. I was hoping to get at least $800 with the tyres. Is that a possibility in your opinions? The TE37's will be expensive, and if I can't raise the funds, I'll probably end up going with some P1 Buddies. Cheers guys!
  4. If you're going to buy a NUR, it's worth spending a bit extra for the custom plate!
  5. What does that entail? Sorry I'm fairly unaware of the jargon used in the photochopping community. I know what vectors are etc, but I don't know how I could make use of a vector? Btw geno8r I like the underglow look - it look's pimp But I've never been a fan of lowered lines. PS. GIVE ME BACK MY SPOILER
  6. Saw blitz on the way to uni. Tried to flash my lights but didn't pull the switch hard enough (only flicked them). Also saw an n.a R32 with plates AMIxxx near the Mowbray road/Epping road turn off. It didn't have a spoiler, and looked very nice.
  7. I'm surprised I didn't see you! You're car stands out like anything! I always see ULUVIT at the smash repairs on Pacific Highway on the way to uni. Definitely a good way to start the day
  8. Well I did actually change my oil (I'm not a complete halfwit). However, it wasn't simply the red light on the dash for oil, it was some other indicator below my steering wheel. That's why I was slightly interesting as to why it wasn't going off. Turned out it was just an aftermarket thing which was basically useless and displaying nothing (but the guys couldnt figure out how to reset it). It is where most people put their turbo timers (bottom left of the steering wheel).
  9. Goon - That isn't Jade, but it certainly is a fking hot car
  10. I like the look of mine more (even though it's NA!)
  11. As the topic suggests, who is your mechanic and why do you goto them? I had my first service (3000kms - I decided to check out why some oil light had come on) at unique autosports on Monday. The blokes were friendly and gave me a thorough run down on the state of my car afterwards. Now my car seems to be running a bit smoother (albeit a slight difference I think there is a difference) and I will certainly go back to them for my next service. I'm still interested to know all the different mechanics in Sydney though. Although Unique Autosports is in Castle Hill (a good 1 hour drive from where I live), I decided to choose them since I had heard good things about them, and it seems like they do quite a bit for the import community which I always like to support. Cheers
  12. Oh I guess a picture of my car would be a good idea :S
  13. Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could chop some wheels onto my R34. Specifically (with colours - sorry I can't provide pictures!): P1 Buddies - Gunmetal and White (most likely the wheels I'll get) ...unless I can pick up a second hand pair of: Pro-drive GC - Gunmetal Advan AVS Model 6 - Gold Advanti Vision - Gunmetal Volk TE37 - Bronze/Gold and White Nismo LM GT4 - Bronze and White If anyone could superimpose any of those wheels onto my car (approx. 17"s if possible) I would be very greatful... I'm trying to see what my Skyline will look like with certain wheels.
  14. Sounds illegal. I wouldn't buy a line unless there was money about for the insurance. Too much at stake!
  15. Got many left? Please pm me some details - I am interested.
  16. It's Sydney. Sorry, I'm in the midst of my finals then. Have fun though!
  17. I saw some crappy suzuki or the likes called 'Chamonix'. For those who don't know, Chamonix is a beauty mountain resort in the South Eastern part of France. It is a synonym to extreme sports and other death defying activities - the car certainly wasn't... The only death defying aspect of the car was it's crappy plastic frame which would crumble the split second it was impacted.
  18. Have u ever actually seen one on road in Australia though?
  19. Spotted pearl orange R33 on Epping Rd. around 3pm with FLYDLICE(is that how u spell it?@@) That bloke goes to my uni. Very nice ride! I spotted a yellow R34 going into my uni (macquarie uni) at about 6 this evening. Same kit as mine, so I'd guess it was YZN?
  20. It's pretty nice. But like some people have said - give it a good old touch up in Photoshop (change the colour levels etc.) Also it's a bit of a risk shooting into the sun!
  21. Interesting pieces of work on this site. http://www.iacoski.com/ Check out the English version!
  22. Audi make great cars. That said, your R33 SII still looks great next to it
