  1. Perhaps some photo's will help some of us advise of what you may or may not be looking at...
  2. I like... a lot, bloody nice including the odd(ish) headlights. I instantly thought 240Z. Good work and I hope we see it here, or perhaps not, so I can import one later at an affordable price...
  3. Well I must be blind... Cheers
  4. Super Cheap sell the Light skin, with all the other H/L protectors. You do have to cut it to shape though, and it is quite thick but it can be done. I have it on my GSX-R. The rounded shapes would be a bit tricky though...
  5. Found the smoked ones, but not the clear. Very similar I would have thought... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Infinity-G3...emZ350117050795
  6. So they are now off the Headlights, correct?
  7. Use is straight lines if you can too... There is another product that can even remove scratches, but you have to be really careful with it and I have not seen it commercially. As per the Thread name, has anyone made any headlight covers for a V35? "Light Skin" might work, it is like a thick contact, made by Aunger I think...
  8. Can anyone summarise for me, I am still a bit perplexed. Can you have the car opening/disarming and starting using the original key fob only, or can you use an aftermarket system instead? I would prefer to keep the original stuff locked away and use something that can easily be replaced... can you make them both work? As for only one key, that is a killer, I need a spare ready to go, just in case!!
  9. Just use the sun and shadows...
  10. Yes, the only V35 I have driven is an Auto and yes it was a good gearbox, but sorry I doubt that I will ever own an Auto, just not my thing. I suppose if I compared it with other Aussie Vehicles and their Auto's, it would be like chalk and cheese, however it just doesn't float my boat.
  11. So you cut circles out of the headlights?
  12. "Craved", look like they do some good stuff, incidentially.
  13. Cool, that is what I thought, shit it must be pretty hard to do. Do the tailights have any raised lettering or logo's on the exterior. That is the first part that will start to bubble. With a lot of patience, you could get it pretty good, which is what yours look like! The last picture looks like a white 350GT, that is why I thought you had 2... Can not believe that is a Silver one!
  14. Wouldn't powder coating calipers be a bit dangerous or time consuming as the seals and rubber boots would all need removing first. Really need to ensure that the seals do not get covered in that process. Easier, imo to organise some high heat paint and coat them in that. It isn't that expensive either and you can do a really nice job on the bench with a new caliper.
  15. Thanks Jai, I have been looking from a far at your car for sale. Wish it was a manual! Looks good, but if (more like when!) I get an V35, I will start off NA and then maybe look at FI. Have to get used to the steady flow of torque that my current car seems lacking. Would the 6 speed cope with the S/C, in your opinion? What boost can it go to? Did it need a decompression plate as the std (18psi) is still quite high?
  16. So how do they work, is it a spray? or a film that you shrink on? I like the tailights but I think the headlights may be quite poor now. Do you have 2 V35's
  17. Good work and excellent answer, perhaps that should be posted on the first page as it is a bit long now at 5... Just a thought.
  18. thank you and perhaps you can tell us a bit more about it, where, how and how much perhaps...
  19. Where did all of this go?
  20. I would of thought most Auto Trimmers could do it. Or even someone handy with a sewing machine and decent hand skills. Wouldn't think it would be too hard...
  21. Would love to read more about it... does anyone have a link? How does it work?
  22. Welcome to the boards and congratulations. Yes you will find something for everything V35 related here, just use the Search function.
  23. Actually, I didn't see the Importer thing in Geoff's first post about a Price increase and I can understand how a Price rise would happen. It is a shame that costs of importation are not fixed as they are put on the boat... Then at least the costs can not inflate as fluctuations occur. Glad I am not in a hurry though.
