its easy dude, all you need is a crane and some time (and tools of course ) its great fun, and youll heaps about your car. just remeber where everything plugs in. youll also need a mate or 2 to help you out. steve -
didnt they test these locks on a current affair or some show like that? there was only 1 that actully worked, the rest were crap. cant remeber which one? steve

yes, Im going to try to get the best posible position inside the tank to avoid fuel surge aorund corners etc. Ill also be using a fuel strainer. Ive read a few posts where people use cable ties to hold the pump in place, personally i dont think thats a good idea, so ill be using large hose clamps. Ill see what happens when the time comes. steve

no, i meant i got 14v directly from the battery after running a cable to it. the factory wiring barley got me 10v steve

13.7? is that a direct line from the battery? all 3 of my previous cars including the gtr have all read around 14v. either way, its what the bosch needs so itll be what the bosch gets steve

thanks heaps for the info sydneykid. ill be installing a bosch 044 so i guess a 30amp fuse it is then. will make sure to take pics of both the wiring and the installtion of the pump and make some sort of a tutorial etc. thanks again steve

tidy? it just a bolt in one of the outlets. then you remove all the hicas pipiing. steve

acutally, a easier way of doing it to remove the back cover on the pump, and remove the little vane/pump/thingy inside. it slide right out so you dont need to machine anything. then reassemble the pump and block off the outlet. steve

hey guys, ill be installing a larger fuel pump in my gtr, and plan on running a fat cable from the battery directly to a relay then to the fuel pump. I need to know what rating fuse i should use near the battery in case of shorts etc? thanks steve

why doesnt someone stick a magic cat on and get a test done? im in the market for a cat and would probly do it but my car wont be ready for a few months. steve

i did my cooler piping my self too. 2.5 inch stainless, mandrel bends, silicon pipiing. i mesured and cut it up, and my dad welded it up for me. total of ~$300 steve

i got a set of hks ssq and they sound pretty good, and arnt real loud either.

actually my car was stolen a day before it was due to go in to get an alarm/immob fitted. i told the insurnce it didnt have have one and they still paid me out. i dont know about your insurnce though. steve

you are allowed to record anything you want, wait for them to start abusing you, then say "oh, did i mension you are being recorded" then, if they abuse you some more, send the tape to their bosses. everyone beleives the cop and not the hoon, but if you have at least audio evidence, youll be ok. steve
