hey guys anyone know a good place where i could take my rb26 bottom end to get reringed? ill change the gaskets and stuff my self, btu i dont wanna try install new rings. also, wopuld stock rings do, or will a btter brand help? thanks steve

Hi guys, My engine is currently out of my car (respraying bay etc etc) I was thinking about changin all the gaskets on the engine to freshen it up, but am wondering if it would be a good idea to also change the piston rings? I can do everything my except change the etc so does anyone know of any rough prices to get the rings changed if i supplied the whole bottom end plus the new rings? it didnt smoke the last time i drove it, but i didnt drive it too hard, so i cant tell to much about the condtion of the engine. im in perth and this is for a r32 gtr. thanks steve

well if the hicus ecu isnt getting a speed reading it shutdown, so that would explain the heavy steering. steve

yeah, i dont think a vx or vy would stand a chance against any type of gtr on the freeway, no matter what chip they have!!!! if it wasnt for the damb chopper, it would be a bit easier to get away, provided you know how to drive of course. steve

firstly, at the bottom of the page is a selection menu whicjh allows you to change the skin, i chose IPB default which makes it easier to read. the thing under your nuck is like a status thing that changes depending on how many posts you have steve

ive thinking about dropping a rb25det in my dads nissan urvan. its a 2.4L 4cyl carb, but the wiring and other crap wont be an issue. just the mounts, and its connectabilty to the gearbox. maybe slap a lsd diff on it, as its got an open wheeler and loves to spin 1 wheel around the corners!! steve

im gonna connect the mirrors to the autowindow winder so when i arm the car, the windows close them selves, and the mirrors fold in automaticly. steve

you forgot the "cruisers" people that own excels and lancers, whos know their cars are shit but say they dont care about power and are more concerned about looks (aka rice) they are the ones who's exhaust tip is larger in diameter than their stock rim. they like to buy $6000 20 inch chromies and $4000 bodykits for their $2000 sohc carb excel they are the ones who, after their fully sik visual mods, cant afford a proper set of neons, so they buy 1 small one and stick it on the drivers side. they are the ones who have a monster tacho, and a radar detector but cant top 80kph on the freeway. Fave type of woman: any 15year old who doesnt know jack shit about cars and thinks big wheels is the best. Fave mag: HOT FOURS :crazy: steve
