thanks for the info, the engine bay is black, and i wanna keep it black, cause i want to paint the enngine blue, so i think itll stand out more. i kinda figured that this wasnt too good weather for painting, but ill be doing it in my garage and ive got 4 heat lamps that i was thinking about using. so 2pak paint it is then! steve

you sure the battery isnt stuffed? have you tried another battery?

actually a 1.5 way lock on acceleration and partially on deceleration. 1 way locks only on acceleration, which is what i want. steve

well you have to undo the pipes on the ps pump, so some fluid will come out. the rest is easy

basicly you take the ps pump off and undo the the 4 bolts on the side of it.After you remove the cover youll see a little impeller pump thing which slides out. Luckly the outside impeller is for the hicas and is easily removable. Then you close the the pump up and block the outlet with a bolt. If you dont remove the impleller and just block the hole, the pump will still be pumping the fluid, but because the fluid has nowhere to go, the pump will start to heat up and leak. maybe even wear out eventually. i really should get my shit together and post up some pics. steve

hey guys, i was wondering if anyoe could tell me if this turbo is a stock r32 gtr turbo. also, when i bought the car i was told it had a aftermarket clutch in it. the clutch is very heavy, but i dont knwo how good it holds as i have yet to thrash it. the pressure plate say nissian on it, but ive never seen this kind of disk before. thanks steve

those tyres have been out for ages. i think you can get blue and yellow also. looks pretty cool anyways

the gtr insicators fit gtsts cause the backend of the gtr inidicators are shorter, but the gtst indicators are longer. i stiffed my self and bought some gtst inidcators and they wont fit my gtr now. steve

i know for a fact that r32gtst indicators dotn fit a r32 gtr

forgot to add, after you clean the writing, go over the whole lot with clear gloss a few times

what ive done on my previous cars rocker covers is, sand down the writing till its polsihed up, then get a cloth and dip it in clean oil, and lightly go over the wirting. make sure it only VERY light, so it doesnt run down the side etc. then after painting, and drying, you can easily wipe the wirting down with a cloth dipped in turps etc, but again, do it very lightly. steve
