Dec last year I took off from sum lights and had sum wheel spin through 1st and then chirp into 2nd and kept going.. got pulled over and fined for “not having full control of the vehicle”.. so I take it to court and the cop changed it to “careless driving”.. the law is if your tires don’t have 100% traction you can be fined for “not having full control of a vehicle” or “careless driving”

umm im no mechanic either so this might not help you much.. but i remember taking the heat shield off and there was little metal clips covering 1 side of the bolt so they couldnt turn.. so after bending the clips back i just tried to turn the (not %100 sure how many) 4ish bolts tighter b4 bending the clips back over so they dont turn back at a later stage... i left my heat shield off which im not sure was a smart idea.. but it made putting the dump pipe on a bit easier.

i had a leaking problem too about 6months ago. mine was making a screaming sort of sound at full boost and was losing power.. mine was from where the turbo bolts on and all i had to do was tighten up the bolts half a turn each and only took 10mins... might be worth checking that first b4 you pay that sorta money for something that might be this simple

i only had my car for about 3months b4 i got a letter from the epa saying a cop has noticed my car making excessive noise (even though it “had” a completely stock exhaust)… it was a warning notice but it said if i get another i will have to take my car down to the epa for testing… pissed me off cos now iv lost my warning for too loud for no reason..

your lucky i got caught speeding on the 22 Dec last year and went to court 2 weeks ago.. you've only got another few months to wait b4 its too late cross ya fingers

im looking for a sparco wheel atm.. iv found sum at a place called "revolution racegear" they were very high priced and didnt have the wheel i was looking for but they have sum ok stuff i spose

your lucky your not in melb i got done doing 130 in a 80.. 50 over here is 12months plus 8points which is my licence anyway... but either way.. bad luck dude cos walking sux hard

just go into nero and use the wizard 1 click on "complie a new cd" 2 click on "other cd format" 3 click on "video cd" then you can just drag and drop mpg's and avi's

no my car was stock.. part from a hks bov and a k&n flat filter and the other 33 was stock part from hks bov and a cat back exhaust

you sure? i know mine was stock as a rock when i got it and i had it put on a dyno and they hooked up a boost gauge and it got up to an exact 10psi and i know of others 33 that was there on the day with no boost controller got to 10psi too

it shouldnt change anything as a stock 33 runs 10psi after 5k

iv got the same prob.. its that bad im thinking of just buying new lights... i got told to use a buffer on them and do like a cut and pollish.. i got a clean rag and rubbed the fk outta them.. looked really good for about 2 days before coming back.. sum1 please find a cheaper answer than buying new lights

about a year ago when i was still on my p's and driving the gtst around i got waved into a allready full booze bus and was told to wait for a cop to become free.. a few mins later i was waved through the booze bus and told to drive to the side of the road where they got me out of the car and to open boot/bonnet and let them have a look round.. then the cop gave me a canary for 1: too low, 2: bov and 3 rear tread... then asked me how much power these things put out.. i played dump and said dunno but i dont think its much being a 2.5l and all and he went off reading sum lil black book only to come back and let me go.. i dunno if they do have too much power for a p plater cos i thought i woulda got done for it if they could of done it.. but can you get out of the fine if you say adjust the boost less than stock and weigh the car up sumhow?

The power gain your talking about would be the solenoid thingo that changes the boost from 7psi to 10psi just b4 it hits 5k wouldn’t it?

yeah for real.. cop cars are speed limited to like 220 or sumfin arnt they? it coulda been worth a shot woulda been more of a story anyway

we've all done stupid stuff b4.. just gotta feel sorry for the ppl that get caught.. hate to see what he gets for that
