i got my 1st letter from the epa when my car had the complete stock exhaust still on the car.. said the same thing about a police officer has reported my car as being too loud.. when i went to get it tested they didnt even bother setting up the mic.. they still made me pay for it tho .. if you need to borrow a stock exhaust just pm.. im from mentone

iv also heard from a workshop that these are unmarked trust cores

wouldnt alot of that damage that your talking about be from them being cut out of the car?

iv got a stock cat back (lost the cat off it tho) from my '93 r33 gtst. im from mentone and you can borrow it if you can think of a way that i can trust you to bring it back as it means too much to me as its only a matter of time b4 i get another epa

i have the "mirror section" of the driver's side mirror spare you can have if its just the "mounting half" of the mirror thats broken

i asked the same question a while ago and sum1 on here told me about a place in dandy.. i think it was called something along the lines of "melbourne headlight exchange" its off chelt road somewhere.. you take the headlights out and give it to them.. they pull them apart and clean them to brand new conditions and give them back.. from memory it was about $55 a headlight and took half a day...

that might be the law (i dont know).. but if you drive off b4 they give you the fine you just get the over due notice in the mail...

can i just say well done on those huge darkies left on the road sorry to who ever owned that crazy 33 and well done for giving it heaps.. thats what it was made for (not the hitting the tree part) if no1 was seriously injured why not laugh it off instead of paying out on whoever was driving?

not having a personal go at your response, just wanted to point out that i know some1 has to stick up for the cop as it might not have even been their fault but you can see where some ppl are coming from as THEY (the cops) dont think twice about jumping to a conclusion about some1 driving an imported car is automatically doing something wrong and needs a fine or a defect they can pick on us in person but we cant give it back to their face so why not have a stab off the road

they test a 33 at 4800.. thats what this place's book said anyways

thats where i got mine done they were good enough just to have a quick look under to check i put the stocky back on and they just wrote out 1 of them epa things to send away

i got my epa in the mail a couple of weeks ago and failed my test(got 103db's).. put my stock cat back system on with cable ties(took a whole 10mins) and went back for the retest and they didnt even turn my car on.. just payed them $20 and they gave me a thing to send to the epa.. if you want to come borrow my stock cat back just let me know as iv allready put my 3" back on.. im in mentone
