  8. Little more info, The problem seems to be the 12 v feed for the eccs relay. By looking at the rb25 wiring diagram On terminal of the ecu,58 should supply power to this eccs relay. We are not getting this feed. Even with the standard ecu this terminal 58 is not live, To feed, 12 + live to pull the relay in, it uses another terminal, off the top of my head may be terminal 40. (It's cold outside, ATM) I will double check tomorrow! The injectors, cas, coils, seem to line up with the circuit diagram and we have checked the eccs relay and meter this out. I'm just not to keen to just bridge out the terminal, with 12+ on the mega squirt ecu, with out been 100% sure I'm right. The diagram I have seems to be 95% correct. I do have a jap written diagram which seems to be more correct. I'm just hoping that someone may have, sorted this problem before? Or I'm wrong! ;-) Cheers for any help.
  9. Looks, like I need a little help, trying to get the correct diagram. I'm building my own ecu with my mate, seems like there may be some slight changes between the S1 & S2 ecu namely the ECCS relay and a couple other pin outs. I was told the my car may have r34 ecu etc as my car is a s2, I've checked, it's not. I've check the standard skyline work shop manuel, that I purchased of ebay.(that some one on here has made up pdf workshop manuel) Seems to be incorrect. Any one got any ideas? Cheers
  10. Plus 1 on the nt-01, not the quickest semi, but you can beat the hell out of them and lasts for a age.
  11. Very true. Hope the rest of the build goes as well. Looking forward to seeing the results
  12. Nice car and I've enjoyed the build. But is there a better place to install the surge tank? I would hate someone to run up your rear end and have fuel problem. Just my 2 cents.
  13. Thx for the heads up.
  14. As stated, please pm if you have a set. I'm happy to re-build them, Happy to pick up and Cash no mucking around. Cheers
  15. Very quick car, but Sam can drive! Worst of all he's a really nice bloke, so you can't hate on him either. There is a couple of guys that run with outlaws that can really pedal there cars. I was just getting some seat time before the QR300. I really enjoy driving and been on the track, I understand that red bull won't be knocking on my door any time soon.
  16. I'm wondering at which point it starts oversteering, high speed sweeping bends, slow speed corners off exit etc Yes, yes and yes What throttle is being used prior to oversteer All of it!!!! how it's responding to inputs Getting it's drift on!!!! I'm hopeful with a stiffer spring in the front will help balance up the car. On the 86, seems bloody good in the wet, another 100mm and trees wizzing may work quite well.
  17. Really enjoyed the read, Top works! Well done!
  18. Start back with some work on the boat. New W7 pads in, I ate a set of Project MU club racer pads in one meeting at QR. 60 laps and they where done. I've got massive over steer problems ATM, I've tried soft'n the rear, remove the rear sway bar. So I've switched the front springs from 8kg to 10 kg. I'm really lucky that a mate of mine has been racing a r33 for about 10 years, so there is always cheap parts around
  19. http://www.targaracing.com.au/ Contact if you want to hire a car for a track day or race day! There in Brisbane and New Castle
  20. Hi All, Long time no updates, I've been getting my racing on, I've been enjoying it.... Bank account has not, I'm sure a crack habit would be cheaper! I was lucky enough to get a gentleman racer seat with Targa racing the QR300, had a great time in the new (now slightly use) Toyota 86. We ended up getting 3rd in class, because of a massive effort of my co-driver, doing 50 laps with no clutch and a broken steering wheel adjuster!!!! We beat the hell out of the 86, the motor never skipped a beat! I wanted to run the skyline, but she was just not ready, I need to add a second fuel tank and new turbo too make her more reliable..... Maybe next year. Targa racing was quite affordable as long as you don't bin the car..... I was very well looked after and I think they are looking at running more cars at next years event. Also thanks for Dale FZ1popping out a catching up. Heres a couple of pic from the weekend. Thanks to my co driver I got something to hang in the shed.
  21. CAMs rules state you can run them through the cab as long as they don't have joints. Also I run a accusump in the cab, At CAMs events all I've done is make up a cover to go over it. Never had a problem.
  22. ^^^^ This may help http://j-w-racing.co.uk/section.php/1570/1/wing_accessories
  23. I've just switched to W7. I was running Project Mu club racer. Which I ate in 60 laps of the national circuit at QR. So I'm in the same boat. I'm keen to hear how you get on!
  24. Drive slow enough, nothings a handful!
