7k will get you a nice turbo aussie 31 20det, or 30et or a fairly bog stock Passage GT Feel for your loss buddy... thievin' skylines is coming alot more frequent.

if the adjusters are busted, just take the headlight out and use a few washers, depending on where you put them will vary which way the lights point

Basically - bolt on 30ET setup, S13 coilover conversion, minispool/locked diff and you'll be set. Alot of the blokes I know drift with stockers 30E, good springs, swaybar upgrade, strut brace and a mini-spool. As to the original question, Economy is quite good considering their age and size... I can get between 8.3 and 10 litres per 100k's depending on how I drive. It comes down to a) how you drive the car, b) how you maintain the car and c) the overall condition of the car. R31 Pintaras are not that economical, and you'll get shitted with the lack of power in the CA20 31 forums will have the info, you've just gotta look for it

I was done for "parking against the flow of traffic" in a maccas car-park - $80 fine, a few years ago, it arrived in the mail I never saw the cop or whoever issued the fine. It depends on wha paints you get - Acrylic, Enamel, 2 pac in a solid, metallics or custom colour... Its usually cheper to get the shop to buy them for you anyway, or are you just after an approx cost? You gotta think of it like this: Undercoat Colour Clear you'll use approx 3-5L of each when spraying the car (depending on the thinners mix) I purchased the paints for my 31 home respray at *almost* trade price from the local Auto1 total was about $700 for metallic 2pacs. 2pac undercoat ~ 5L + Hardener quick dry 2pac enamel ~6L (3 colours) 2pac Clear ~ 5L + Hardener 2pac Thinners ~ 10L All DeBeers paints.

The ad shits me as well, they make a few big statements about drivers and their cars, I wonder if you picked up a holden and were not totally satisfied with it you could get them for false advertising, because they lay claim to alot of stuff in that ad.

No, they are not the same. however the Skyline (read: Not VL) RB30 cross member just bolts up. and, because the pintara came out with the CA20, you'll have to have the RB30 engineered, the trans tunnel is also a little tighter in places from what I've heard from some accounts (if you're aiming for a 25det gearbox) You'd be better off finding a cheap skyline. A CA18DET drops straight in tho, and coz its a 1.8L wont need much in the way of engineering, a few of the R31 pinny lads I know go that way and dont have issues.

Your rims eh!? might help if it wasnt 4wd ride height spec... or a 33 (jks) if you use an import broker they can arrange to get rims from Yahoo Japan off you, doesnt matter if sellers will not ship internationally.

NS.com and Boostcruising usually have some decent 4 stud gear if you can stand trauling thru their forums

I picked up a set of Veilside Marriotts from Yahoo Jap for a steal, shipping cost 4x more than the rims... and it was still cheap for JDM 17's. 4 & 5x114.3 +28 offsets 7.5 & 8.5 wide... I've seen them around Aust for as much as $1800
