This morning a silver s2 R33 GTS-T filling up at BP in Modbury, had silver 5 spoke rims. Anyone here?

Spotted briefly late this arvo on McIntyre Rd in Modbury a shiny black R33 with a GTR front bar, chrome 5/6 spoked wheels, bucket seats, Blitz FMIC & shopping list stickers on the doors.

FMIC = Front Mount Intercooler ECU = Electronic Control Unit

He is serious but, he forgot to mention to have your collars up uleh....just watch the Ignition DVD's :laugh:Without going too over the top, attention to detail & cleanliness, cleanliness & cleanliness will get you good marks by the judges. puresx's 180 & Leeman's R34 are a prime examples of this.

The widest width tyre I've seen on 18x7.5" were 245's but, 225-235's would be the more optimal width limit in that size. What sort of tyres are you currently running on? Short of getting larger width wheels, you could just spend that little extra & get stickier tyres.

Spotted yesterday @ 6pm on Grand Junction Rd in Holden Hill a nice silver 4door R34 & had a female driver.

As you may have noticed there has been quite a number of new SA members that have joined over recent months & what better opportunity to meet the new & catch up with existing members than a SAU social night. It would involve having dinner then going for a couple rounds of tenpin bowling, or pool or something along those lines. I’d like to organise this social night for the last weekend of February (Fri 23rd or Sat 24th) & would like a show of hands of who’d be genuinely interested? Would also like some suggestions for a central venue to have the dinner & the preferred activity? Hoping to make the final arrangements made & details available by Feb 15th. Spotted last Wednesday URTURN a white R33 at the airport & yesterday morning at 2am a yellow R34 & wine red R33 GTS-T on Parramatta Rd heading out of town.

Got to say it was worth the trek down to watch & T04GTR was quite impressive around the track. Nice meeting some SAU NSW members - funny buggers some of yous are also, Jess & Andrew great seeing ya again, sorry wasn't able to stay longer.

Like I said I presumed. This thread was made not so long after Autosalon & there were a couple R33's with R34 fronts & thought George might have followed the trend when I first saw it with the aftermarket kit. Also, a 2door R34 isn't the most obvious platform for drifting compared to a R33 or a 4door Skyline.

You can actually buy air filters that are made to look like FMIC, saw one on a lancer. Don't know what you'd do if it rains though.
