  1. as the other guys stated its for r34 becarefull with the bikirom as tuning options may be limited , that was certainly the case in perth even when he was here
  2. theres a peak like 1 minute from my house and their cheap so that would be cool could be an ethenol blend , not that thats a bad thing
  3. as is the eboost couldnt go wrong with either and the guage format is sxy but the blitz has the ricey screen tough call really that is an extremely flat boost curve though! hard to argue with that
  4. need to register for antilag to read it post it here eboost is good , but expensive . sbcid3 is cheaper and just as good
  5. yeah serch for the s14 towbar threads needs minor mods but does fit
  6. am incorrect in thinking a pair of 2860r -5s with cams would be about 330-350rwkw . probably closer to 330 i guess and there seems to be a lot of unopened rb26s doing that in the rb26 turbo upgrade thread by not high hp im thinking more 1000hp twin to4z or something along those lines
  7. just usual street duties as I said , occasional amature drag , track work nothing serious its not going to be a high hp motor , it will probably get a pair of 2860-5s like i have for my r33 . its probably about 350rwkw max but it would be good to get some reliability and strength its basically a dead rb26 thats getting rebuilt to fix it rather than performance , but I thought you might as well do some stuff while your there to fix factory deficiencies more than anything
  8. how much roughly for bearings and rod bolts ? what is involved in extending the oil pump drive ? oh and what gasket kit ,bore and thickness ? would the smallest 1mm one drop the cr and how much ?

  10. hiyall a friends rb26 died , a valve hit a piston or something . hes rebuilding it . head has already been completed but bottom end is still apart . its going to have forged pistons and nothing else . what as a minumum is a good idea to do to the engine now while its apart . its not going to be a HP monster just things that should be upgraded now as you might as well while its being built anyway i suggested n1 oilpump metal head gasket to lower the cr a little bit ? any suggestions welcomed thanks
  11. the only car i would consider again after a gtr is the s15 with just full exhaust and boost my old one struggled for traction in 2nd (with 18x9s) and chopped hsvs with ease
  12. i cant do a burn out in the 33 gtr .......... and my stock clutch wont handle a launch above about 4k not very wild i am afraid

  14. definetly the highest grade of cars their very picky in terms of selections
  15. no its not but as you said it costs $$$ to tune for cruizing and modify that end of the map which most people dont do , particularly microtech buyers down the bottom end of the scale and with closed loop the ecu is automatically tuning itself for optimum economy so its a win situation defiently not the end of everything , particularly in race type setups where its mostly WOT but its still a good thing to have and if microtechs had it 90% of the cars runing them would get better fuel usage

  17. find out what finance company has title over the car , ring them get them to send you a final pay out figure , pay out the insurance company , they assign the title to you , pay the remainder to the current owner or ask the owner to pay it out and get a letter stating the car is freehold and pay the owner the total amount
  18. i upgraded to an r33 gtr from my 34 gtt and have never looked back a few years is long time to have an itch you cant scratch
  19. they were just on tv last weekend , i think it was might have been sbs on the speedweek thing mr gibson was giving his speach about how they were the greatest they had the rebuilt one that crashed in the 92 bathurst after the race had ended , aka packofarseholes bathurst
  20. hmmm 12k gts4 vs 30k evo6 what do you think is better ? the 6 is superiour in virtually everything possilbe , bar atessa and that is debatable
  21. the afr guages are useless , do not use it for anything apart from eye candy why do you have a z32 afm , you need a tuned ecu for this . is the guage the only reason why you think its running rich ? fix the problems your having 1st and then you could get a safc and take a but of fueling out of it . dont expect much improvement , but a little you could also get your stock ecu reprogramed

  23. he jspec , why not reply to some of your emails for cars on your website rather than reply to posts on this site not even directed to you ? not ragging on you are anything but I gave up using your company cause I couldnt even get a respone out of you the funny thing is the cars i enquired in december and got no response about are still on your list now
  24. so does the microtech have closed loop now ? theres a couple of 33 pfcs on ebay and even a 34 one for 1350$ still cheap in comparison to what else is out there , just dont think about the old price a couple of months ago
  25. air only goes in the direction you point it and doesnt like changing directions and a tight 180deg turn will definetly have an impact on flow characteristics the kits that have the return pipe over the top of intercooler are quite good to save a bit of pipework hassle , thats 2 x 90 deg turns instead having said that these type of coolers can still perform ok and obviously an upgrade from stock
