  1. OK. So would upgrading to Whiteline Springs, Bilstein shocks, and Whiteline Rear camber kit cause Excessive negative camber or excessive toe out?
  2. Sorry Sydneykid. I may have misinformed with my last post. My rear camber was set by Fulcrum to -1.0deg. The front is stock setting...untouched. As for driving of the car, I don't think of myself as a "Schumaker" for street driving, but I'm no "Driving Miss Daisy" either. :headspin:
  3. Fulcrum apparently said that everything was as they left it, so I'm not sure. As JL mentioned it could have been due to bending something, but that hasn't happened as far as I know. My settings are pretty much what JL mentioned as he is the one who fitted all my suspension bits except for the rear camber kit, Fulcrum did that. My thoughts are for the couple a hundred I can get the front camber kit and be done with it. Piece of mind ...... maybe overkill but who cares.
  4. Abo Bob> I can't find the settings, but Fulcrum have agreed to take a look and fix whatever the problem might be. They said that they may have wrongly adjusted something. Good service if you ask me. GTR_Legend> I can't remember all of the differences. The ones I can remember are that it has a upgraded stereo system, and also it is a newer model revision, mine being a little rarer as it is a 2001 GTX-T. I believe it also has the Garrett BB turbo, but I am yet to confirm this. Here is a link with all the different skyline models. It is in Russian, but you can use Babel to get a rough translation. http://www.j-car.ru/catalog/nissan-skyline-139.shtml
  5. I had a 2x rear whiteline camber kits fitted by Fulcrum 2 days after I fitted the Bilstein/Whiteline Suspension with a mate. They also carried out a full 4 wheel alignment and 4 wheel balance. This was about 2 1/2 months ago.
  6. A little background info. 2001 R34 GTX-T, Bilstein Shocks, Whiteline Springs, Rear Whiteline Camber Kit, Yokohama A539's. I was changing oil tonight and found the front tyres (the right in particular) are wearing more on the inside edge. The right one appears to be almost worn flat on the inside edge?? I was advised by friends with similar suspension mods and by Fulcrum that a front camber kit wasn't necessary?? If this is the case, why are my fronts wearing down so quickly? Note, have not been to any track days.
  7. nmcmahon83 and Ferni. Yes you are both correct. I was caught up with reading two Subaru Car catalogues when his car arrived; comparing the old B4 to the new GT. Serves me right for getting all excited over a new car. Happens to me everytime. Thank you for pointing this out to me guys.
  8. My friend just took delivery of his 2005 spec Liberty GT and it has 2 (two) turbo's. Very very nice car to drive. Gave my stock R34 a run for it's money. (He also paid nearly twice as much lol) FYI- Also has a kickin McCintosh 13 speaker stereo system.
  9. SteveL PM SENT.
  10. Can that part also be used on a 2001 R34 GTT?? I am due for a service. Any info please?
  11. Great selection in churches. That's the same place I got married!! Also, very nice photo's. Everybody soooooo HAPPY! :headspin:
  12. Oiy, When did you take these photo's of my car......lol That's exactly what my car looks like!!!
  13. Hey Adam. That is a series 2 look, just like mine except mine is grey. True, it is not as aggressive looking, but I like the sleeper look.
  14. Hey Afro. If you wanted to be certain your turbo had the metal compressor wheel you could do 1 of 2 things. 1. Take out the turbo and physically have a look or 2. Pull of the heat shields and look for the stamp on the turbo. If it says Garrett then it is metal wheel, if it says Nissan then it is nylon. As for clutch, I'm not too certain as I have the tiptronic box.
  15. Definitely R34. I've driven a 33 and own a 34. The 34 just handles so much tighter, and with a decent suspension mods and good tyres, you should have better handling and response than a 33 with same mods. Also the fact that they are newer. My 2C!
  16. SIDEWAYS.............CRACK ME UP!!
  17. One Word. "Smoothwall Corporate Edition." :kick: Well, actually 3 words.
  18. Count me in even though I am on the northern most part of Brisbane. MSN [email protected]
  19. Let me know when you have the engine. Would be nice to see the finished product.
  20. When did your car actually land Clint?? I apparently had one of the first plates issued according to my broker.
  21. Happy Birthday Will. Is your car behaving itself for a change?
  22. A friend of mine who owns a tinting franchise told me once that there is only 4 certified testing locations in Queensland that are able to correctly and accurately measure the tint darkness?? Go figure when the police say, "Sorry mate, it looks to dark".
  23. Hi Adam. Technically Whiteline are correct. Bilstein have not made a shock specifically for the R34. But you can get the R33 GTST fronts and the R33 GTR rears (fork Type) to suit the R34. There was no notable difference betweeen the 2 and 4 door. The whitleine springs worked a treat. The only thing that took a little extra time to fit was the rear springs as they had to be compressed first to be able to fit them. This is because the R33GTR rear shocks are slightly shorter, but the car still sits well and handles extremely well. I will get some pics posted so you can see how it sits. Whiteline can sell you the shocks but I bought my shocks from http://www.gsad.com.au/ as they were local and a little cheaper. The part numbers FYI for the Bilstein shocks are FRONT> F4-B46-1873-10 REAR> F4-B46-2108-H0
  24. Hey Damien. I'm up for one of those manuals. Let me know.
