  1. This really sucks, if you go past a camera everyday just a few kms over you could loose your licence before you even get a fine. It aint going to slow anyone down till 4 weeks later when they have to save fuel to pay the fine.
  2. I'm looking to replace my stock fuel pump with a bosch item. Will i need to tune it afterwards and will i also need to upgrade my fuel regulator and lines? Thanks in advance for your help
  3. Will be along also, I'll put it on the calender right now
  4. Just fitted my car with Toyo T1Rs 225/50r16. They feel very squirmy in the rear end, might have to try increasing the pressures to try and firm them up a bit. They may also just need to be scrubbed in a little more, time will tell. PS. i scored them for $200 per tyre which i thought was pretty reasonable, considering average rubber is only $40 or so less.
  5. I've heard that if you have a bingle with metal guards the shock is transferred to the mounting points and through the rest of the car, causing ripples, dents, bends. While with fibreglass the force is not transferred and the fibreglass takes the lot. Hit anything hard enough and you're fooked! But atleast with fibreglass you have a bit of bend before the damage takes place. If a stone hits ally it will dent, if it hits fibreglass it may chip paint but probably won't damage the body.
  6. skyline jumping off dyno!
  7. ^^^^^^beat ya!!!!
  8. It was an electric leaf blower under the bonnet and a gennie on the passenger seat!!
  9. but they are so deserving. It's not the cars fault.............
  10. Found this while being bored HONDA Song
  11. Keep spotting a dark grey skyline on my way home from work, almost every day. Near Munno Para shopping Ctr. Anyone from on here? I'm in the Silver 33.
  12. You'll gain power down low with an ebc due to the boost coming on earlier.
  13. Yeah, get yourself a file, a nice sharp one. Should take no time at all!
  14. I was just over on the island all last week, there aint no road that runs along the seaside, look at the attached map. There is a small section between Penishaw and American river but most(90%) of that strech you can't see s*** just trees. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome place but you have to be prepared to hit the dirt and possibly some natives to get to the good bits. Plus the ferry ride costs around $300 for 2 people and a car return, no BP Ultimate and it costs 30c/L more for regular unleaded. It was pretty rough when we went over but no cars moved, just rocked on their suspension, if anything i'd be worried about salt sprey getting everywhere. It's good fishing tho- fishies kangarooislandmap.pdf
  15. Hey dude, I'm back from holidays but i'm broke
  16. Second that! You can get several different gaps for most plugs. Be very careful if you're gapping iridium(spelling) or platnum plugs as it's very easy to knock off the point
  17. Brockie, may he rest in peace.
  18. We could just book out a caravan park/camp ground up the river, burra george or something. Drive up there, have a few drinks, "comfort" fire and then a cruise back the next day.
  19. It will go fast so i love it!!!!
  20. I'm going on a holiday in a week. If i still got money when i get back, and it's still available..............hmmmmmm
  21. Thanks for the links paulr33, just reading through them now. Would be a good time to do a conversion, if it's viable, with the short bald bast.......... guy chipping in. Oh, and by viable i mean won't sacrafice power
  22. Just wondered if anyone out there has tried running strait LPG on their RB25DET? Little Johnny 10% is subsidising anyone that changes over. $2000 aparently. I can think of a few benifits: No emmision restrictions $2000 cheaper fuel LPG being cold will lower the temp of air going in From memory i think LPG has a good octane rating aswell????? I'm probably just dreaming but if anyone has done it, even looked into it i'd be interested to hear how it went. Thanks Aaron
  23. I had the exact same problem, I must have nearly stalled the skyline 50 times when i first got it.
  24. If you do get an easyout stuck in there, just take the turbo, once unbolted, into your nearest toolroom and get them to burn it out with an EDM.
  25. What grade will u be using?
