  1. Sounds like a plan! Does anyone do this? I like it cos it's less work for me:)
  2. ^^^^who does their machining?
  3. www.rhemac.com.au/ Not heaps of stuff on the site, I think it's pretty new.
  4. So the 8100 is ok to use, it was just wierd that its discription was so broad. It didn't even mention that is could be used in turbo engines. I'm guessing they want to talk up the more expensive oils so we buy them and not the cheaper ones that can probably do a satisfactory job. At the end of the day i don't know anything about oils, i can only go on what i pick up here and there.
  5. Is the Motul 8100 a true synthetic oil or just a modified mineral oil with synthetic on the lable? The reason i ask is because on their site the other synthetic oils specifically say they are ester based, but not the 8100. I am currently using Motul 8100 but may change if it turns out it is not a true synthetic.
  6. Rhemac Motors get my vote, more expencive than some other places around but they do a great job, don't cut any corners. Very good guys to deal with also.
  7. The link to the cusco site kinda explained how to change from 1 to 1.5 to 2 ways You just have to move the pin to a dfferent hole in the plates and change it's orientation.
  8. The only non turbo car i can think of for 8k is an r33, thats the best you can do with 8k and a non turbo car. How about a really good stock NA or turbo 32, what do those go for, coupe?
  9. Don't worry about it, I need it tomorrow so i'm going to have to fork out and get it at $135
  10. My brother is looking around for an import at the moment. He's wanting to get something for under $8000, good condition and would prefer non-turbo because of insurance. What sort of cars could you get for that sort of money.
  11. I dug this up from a while ago. Some interesting stuff in there Thread
  12. Maybe by the copper was meaning it as a compliment, saying that a Skyline could have pulled up at the lights in time (very thick sarcasm). A mate of mine got done for going through a yellow. The cops were tailgating him down ANZAC hwy, the first set of lights changed as he was going through them, the second set canged just before, and the third set when he was probably on the limits of his stopping distance, but not when you have a car up your ar##.
  13. How much did you pay for the plates? I knew the old owner of them and i wouldn't have tought he'd part with them.
  14. ^^^^^ but how much more torque do you have over us 2.5 to 2.6L midgets?
  15. you should be able to get the scratches out, i did on mine. start with 400 wet and dry, (use soapy water with the paper for best results) work it side to side, when the scratches are gone go the otherway untill the first direction marks are gone. go to a 600 paper, repeat the side to side and the up and down. Continue like this through the grades untill you reach 2000 grit paper and then attack it with a buff and some polish
  16. What to say, I'm gobb-smacked Condolences to Troys family. I hope Drew and the passenger from the festiva have a speedy recovery. Aaron
  17. For the money you're talking you could build a good 3ltr.
  18. Hey Matt, ECU is in and running Thankyou!! you're a life saver!
  19. How does the right hand side look? I'm looking at everything from the front guard back. ie, door, sill, rear quater, b pillar etc. I'm in Adelaide also. Just getting prices at this stage, waiting on insurance etc. etc.
  20. I'd prefer to get one in SA but will keep you in mind if i don't find anything by sunday night.
  21. Has anyone in adelaide got a R33 GTS-t S2 Stock ECU they can lend me/sell to me? Thanks
  22. The one on elm street must be just up from tilbrooks. Perhaps they have seen a skyline box before.
  23. Hey oosh, why don't you give it a go yourself, doesn't look too complicated.
  24. ^^^^^Like he said, one person would f*** it up for everyone. Especially the people at the head who would be seen as accountable for the groups actions. For example, say you're on a cruise, someone does a burnout and gets pulled up for "hoon" behavior, the people organising the event could be prosicuted under the hoon law, something about organising a hoon event i think. As it is now, we're just meeting up, accountable for ourselves individually.
