  1. R33 gtst S2 Oil pressure sender PM me
  2. I think it's more who tunes it than what type of computer it is. Being so common there are lots of places that can tune them. The PFC is good in that you can easily check if there is something a little unusual going on. Another big plus is that it lets you know if there is excessive knock, maxed out injectors and i think AFM, through the dash light. So you can instantly back off.
  3. Link to headunit info and pics added to first post
  4. These items where fitted at a dealer to a car that my brother intended on buying, the deal fell through so now he is left with these items and wants to sell them. Both items were brand new, fitted and then removed at the dealer. Apexi N1 cat back to suit R32 gtst Paid $1000 Sell $700 ono Pioneer Head unit DEH-P8850MP. Last years top of the range i think. For info visit the link below Pioneer DEH-P8850MP $700 For any other details PM me or call Caleb(my brother who owns the stuff) on 0432074572 Goods are in SA but our Dad drives trucks to Brisbane and Melbourne regularly so something could probably be arranged to these cities.
  5. Apexi N1 cat back to suit R32 gtst, was fitted to a car at a dealer and then removed when we no longer wanted to buy it. Paid $1000 Sell $850ono Pioneer Head unit DEH-P8850MP, same deal as the exhaust. Last years top of the range i think $700 For any other details PM me or call Caleb(my brother who owns the stuff) on 0432074572
  6. Just open the oil filler cap and have a look inside, if the oils black as black chances are it's not been serviced as regularly as it should have been
  7. It's ok Hillzy, i like the 1.5s better
  8. I've got the Blitz SBS ID III also, I've had no spiking issues what so ever. Just for a start try using auto mode duty of 30 and whatever psi you want to run, don't over do it!! i teach mine by doing a 2,3,4 gear run. once the L disappears from the top of the screen record the same type run and check for spiking on the boost graph. If there is none up the duty 5 or so and repeat untill you get a little spiking and then back it back off. I think mine ended up being around 50 duty. If you're after even better boost response you can use the scramble function and set a manual level for the first few seconds and then switch to the auto mode to prevent drop off at high rpm. When you're using manual mode the instructions say not to go over 15duty with an actuator type wastegate. There is a good tread by Col-gtsx but that was a long time ago, do a search for it and also for english instructions as there are some around somewhere, maybe try the Blitz site also. Also, for your next purchase try www.nengun.com
  9. Famous was $500 dearer for me. They go by the number of years you've been insured for, Just Cars go by how many years you've been driving. I was with Famous because they gave me an Ok quote and i could pay by the month, the next year it went up $300???? isn't insurance meant to go down when you don't have an accident? I've had an at fault accident while i've been with just cars and they were really good, the excess hits the pocket hard tho. Lucky I had rating 1 protection, best $60 i ever spent
  10. I'm just shopping around for insurance at the moment, does anyone have a link to H2P Insurance or are they not on the net? So far I've looked at- Just Car(current with them) Famous(used to be with them) Rhino Any links to others would be appreciated Thanks Aaron
  11. Can someone shoot us a pm with meet details, I'm keen for a spin
  12. I'll get you a number for Stan the polishing man, get stuff done through him at work. Just file out any major marks that you don't want, ie. casting marks and he will bring it up beautifully and for next to nothing.............
  13. The police can defect a car if they THINK it's unroadworthy. If they happen to think that the tyres are bald they can defect you, even if they are brand new. It's the way the law is set up, the onis is on us to prove that it's roadworthy. Unfortunatly they make it hard for us south australians to do this by not allowing cars to be inspected by local mechanics and making it unsreasonable to get engineers certs. While lots of cars may comply to immisions, we have to have it tested interstate at a large expence. If they want to reduce the amount of cars that are "unroadworthy" due to modifications, they should look at ways to reduce the costs involved get rid of some of the BS red tape and change the laws so they are black ad white, not upto the interperitation of unprofessionals, ie. police officers and ex-bussdrivers(regency inspectors) That way the goal posts will not be shifted depending on the mood of these people. From some of the stories I've heard the ADRs mean nothing to these people, i mean for fk sake, that's what there there for! Sorry about the rant, but this shi7 gets my blood boiling, if it was anyone but the government they would not be there today. I'm a cnc machinist and do lots of aerospace work, imagine if i started to interperate the standards in my own way, say rock up at work and decide that it would be cool to make those ally parts out of rubber, people would be hurt, dead and I'd be screwed. That's why standards are there, to standardise things, they should not be changed by the person interperating them.
  14. I'm keen and I'm always free on weekends
  15. I'm in, i want a black one for an R33 gtst
  16. Yeah, I can't complain with the work, the cost was also justified but i had no idea it was going to cost so much untill i went to pick my car up even after asking for estimates along the way. They put my current motor in but did everything while the engine was out rather than risk it. ie. waterpump, oilpump, new idler and tensioner, timing belt, rear main etc. etc. etc. etc. But yeah, expencive
  17. Boostworx is great but you could try John at Rhemac motors in Gawler, he's had a lot of experience and charges ok. Plus you don't have to wait months to get in. I'd also consider going somewhere like Tilbrooks for weird skyline related issues cos they see heaps of skylines only problem is they will hit you in the pocket pretty hard (my experience). Personally I'd go to John, he knows his stuff my 2c aaron
  18. I saw a suspicious looking wagon along that strech of road but i was stuck behind a 4WD so it didn't bother me.
  19. PM Please, not sure what i'm doing as yet but a cruise sounds good

  23. Have fired an email to mobiletek, Anyone else???
  24. Has anyone had cruise control fitted to a R33? I'm looking at getting it done but I'm not sure where to go. Any ideas??? Thanks, Aaron
  25. You can use standard springs with the Sydneykid shocks, the standard groove gives you the standard height. I recently PMed Sydneykid as i need new shocks and want to upgrade the handling a bit. My goals were 1 - replace shocks 2 - improve handling 3 - not scrub tyres 4 - spend no more than $1500 His advice was to get the shocks as stage 1 and then swaybars and a castor kit as stage 2. I was origionally looking to get springs aswell but now i think i'll follow his advice. All this was for a R33 gtst but i'm guessing it's the same across the board, pretty much anyway.
