guys, seriously now, a "non-happy dyno" on a stock car will go anywhere from 120-140rwkw depending on the health of the car and other factors. as al said too, you're mechanic is probably saying that to you to squeeze $$ out of you. oh dude your car is really low on power you need this this and this now to make it go hard. first things first. get an exhaust, a cai, and maybe a hi-flow cat. you will notice a very nice gain alone just with those mods.

don't be upset dude, as others have said. if the car is stock (completely) then thats RIGHT on the money on what your car should be making. Look at getting an exhaust and an EBC running around 10psi and you'll be making about 160rwkw maybe less depending on the dyno.

i had the same issue tonight, went to mobil on bridge road richmond - none. went to bp on swan st - none. the only bp ultimate i found was on church st, and even then i hate using that fuel, im loyal to synergy 8000.

what sort of thermostat you using? could you possibly try using one that opens at a lesser temp?

my car does that too, my old skyline did that too lol. your revs are too low so the car is labouring, its like a grinding/whirring sound and it vibrates a bit till it hits the ideal rpm to make power. nothing to worry about. try taking off in 2nd from a standing still start, it will do it.

I've been black flagged, and so was my mate on the same night, they suspected us racing each other (someone called and dobbed us in) and they came down to where we were and started giving us the 20 questions. Because they didn't see it they couldn't get us for anything, but still said to us that our cars are on a database now. I get a bit of harassment here and there, but I am always nice to the cops and they just let me go.
