  1. Ha ha, well.. Clean and polish! Sort brakes out. Catch can Tune, maybe injectors... Fit a stereo Nismo MFD and install Might be around Dural area every now and again!
  2. People coming so far: Me Sloane God speed, maybe Auzzi 17 Black Widow Ryan, supra Habib, WRX, maybe
  3. Eng bay is all done now and car is back on the road. Front disks were machined because of a slight shudder under braking but now they shudder and shake like a mofo under braking. They were removed from the disk hat to be machined when they should of been given a skim on the lathe, so the disks will have to be removed again. Engine runs fine and turbos spool very nicely, still pretty responsive but will need a tune to suit the -9's. The exhaust is louder due to the exhaust housings being larger so sounds nice
  4. Spotted and got waved at by a yellow R34GT-T on the floodway road out of Windsor this arvo.
  5. Takes at the most, 2 hours to get there.
  6. Thanks Matt! you coming?

Also there is a point to point speed camera in place between Lithgow and Bathurst. - NO burnouts - NO inappropriate behaviour Route and other details will be discussed on the day. Hope to see some of you enthusiasts there!
  8. Ha ha that was me! Was at the church bar, tight ass tuesdays! How long were you at the lights for?
  9. Had the mines baffles in the R32 when I built that. They do help, great for street, but at track days, lap after lap at high RPM I managed to fill the catch can and some of the inlet piping with oil. Put the engine back in and fitted gbox this weekend. Only the radiator hoses, wheels under tray and the rest to go! This piece broke when the twin turbo pipe was fitted! It wasn't even done up tight, and it looked like a casting issue? Broke the top corner right through. So have to get another one this week.
  10. Bloody idiots calling it a modified GTR!!!!
  11. Don't speed and there should be nothing to worry about. Just have to look out for people doing 10k-20km under the limit everywhere, as usual!.
  12. Nothing wrong with the R33 pumps! Mine is still/was going 5 years ago and when I recently sold the car. Revs seen as high as 9500 when I first got it (stock engine with N1's) then when I forged it set rev limit to 9k, but usually never saw more than 8-8.5k Just avoid limiter banging and it'll live a long life!
  13. Thanks:) Don't call em wallet stealers for nothing! Last 26 I built, did the head oil restrictor, enlarged oil returns at the back of head and oil return holes, mines head baffles. Wasn't enough, especially for track work, and due to ring gap being a little big, more blowby than normal which meant oil being forced to stay in head/get pumped into catch can instead of draining to sump. This time, I have only added a tomei sump baffle, rest of engine is completely stock, save for ACL bearings. I have read the oil control thread too and chose not to do certain things. And yes, head drain kit is on the way! Pic courtesy of Spool site. Still have to get a decent baffled catch can too.
  14. Sweet. I put a tomei baffle in mine too, bit of extra insurance! RB20 box should live for a while!....maybe.
  15. Wheelspin much lolz. Nice power to weight figure!! I'm guessing an RB25DET gbox and one piece tailshaft. PFC, standard ecu or other?
  16. Nah. Factory lookish is about it! Still gotta decide what I'm going to do to the cam covers. They do need a touch up. This week was just preping the engine bay for painting as the paint that was applied in the past can be scratched off with a fingernail lolz. So while the engine is out, it's the perfect time to fix up the shite paint job. Half arsed job my buddy painter said when he looked at it. So hopefully tomorrow some nice white polyurethane paint will be applied on the lhs and rhs towers and front radiator support. All degreased and sanded ready for masking sheets, primer and paint. I'll try to bring one in Chris. Cheers.
  17. HMMM RB2630DETT R34GTR?? Better keep an eye on that block lolz!
  18. Bob, you gotta clear you pm folder! Was gonna say, when did you get rid of the 34?
  19. Nice green tape lolz! I'm using the same stuff to mask my engine bay for painting Looks the goods!
  20. For starters get an RB25DET out of a GTS-4 as it has the front diff/sump setup...
  21. Yeah gun metal looks tough! Do it!
  22. I had the white line offset upper bush pins fitted to the rear upper arms and toe arms and with stock suspension I could get positive camber by simply adjusting the stock adjustment bolt and whiteline setups., The lower you make your car the more negative it will be due to the unequal suspension travel arks, ie shorter upper arms and longer lower arm.
  23. I know that some people put in a whole GTR rear cradle that has all the diff, shafts etc already there, Abo Bob is one member that has done the GTR upgrade, so he would be more helpfull with the details. The 25 box is basically the same as a late R33GTR gear box so they are pretty strong, especially for RWD. Only weaknesses are third gear and synchros at high rev fast shifts. Os giken and Par etc are a couple of gearset upgrades available. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...html&hl=gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...html&hl=gtr http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...html&hl=gtr
