  1. Two of these puppies for starters. Diff and tailshaft don't usually have trouble. You have, are going to upgrade the diff center anyway. Not sure if the 6 bolt flange on the GTR shafts will bolt up to the GT-T halfshafts that slip into the diff though.
  2. -9!! only because I got em and wanted a little more than a -7 but less than a -5 from past experiences.
  3. I'm guessing you would need to put in something like GTR rear drive shafts as the GTT one's have been known to shear. Especially running drag tyres etc.
  4. Phew!! they only made 12,500 or so R34GTR's! Good to hear everone's okay
  5. You need one of these. Pretty sure it's a 13mm square drive for the gbox, front and rear diffs etc.
  6. You should put up current bore size too, and I'm guessing it's a 05U block .
  7. DO NOT do that. You will be filling up the transfercase with redline then, and that uses Transmatic D! The shifter in a GTR/GTS-4 does not sit above the gearbox itself, it's on top of the transfercase. For a GTS-T that would be fine. If you do not have the correct square drive which is a metric piece then: I put the 1/2 inch breaker on and kicked it, and or used a big rubber mallet on the end of the bar. If the center is chewed out, you may need to get a metal bar welded to the bung.... There are other solutions too, just do a search. Cheers.
  8. Thanks Huy. Just gotta get it finished so I can drive it! I'd love to put some nismo skirts on....lower a bit......!
  9. Got my parts this arvo, but still waiting on the flywheel. So fitted up the turbo's and lines.
  10. Thanks Ben and nice to meet you! Got my hot side bits back from Craved coatings today and they look very nice! Then started to reassemble some bits tonight onto the new turbo's after cleaning. Hopefully my other parts will arrive tomorrow!
  11. Hard to say but all the setups I have pulled apart have had a washer or spring washer and washer under the bolts.
  12. Same car spotted in Windsor yesterday, must of been Tangents! Really stands out!! And spotted on the Windsor floodway road a beautiful navy blue metallic R32GTR with polished lip rims.
  13. HKS duralumin one's are good, their really old ones are the best as they have a steel outer just like the stockers and are hard wearing. The ones in your pic are the ones to not use as they wear out too quick. These are what I had on mine, the really old school one and the new duralumin one.
  14. Thanks Nick! And Ben, yep, when does that not happen!! I'm happy with the body and interior though.
  15. Ordered some parts from just jap and a one piece flywheel from extreme. Namely, nismo engine and transmission mounts, thermostat, silicone water pipes and radiator pipes, fuel filter, braided clutch line. ACL main and bigend bearings were measured up, fitted and torqued. Stock pistons and rods remain. Exhaust mainifolds, turbine housings and stock stainless dumps were sent into Craved coatings for ceramicoating. Bottom end is a little cleaner now! Just waiting for the parts to come now........
  16. When you put a 32 chassis and 34 chassis side by side and look underneath, a lot of rgidity seems to be from the numerous steel brace bars bolted on under the car. Also standard front strut brace? and rear strut brace/reinforment section in the boot. The 32 does not have these, but 33 and 34 are similar with these bars under the car. What you can't really see unless you start to dismantle a 34 is the other bracing such as B pillar steel braces in floor area, thicker doubler brackets in chassis etc. That is why they feel so much better than a 32.
  17. I'll put this pm I sent to Nick in for the benefit of anyone interested: Good question! I still miss my 32 a little, but the 34 is that step forward, but still familiar if ya get my drift. Ride is firm, but body feels a lot more rigid, handling, even on stock v spec setup is excellent, more ergonomic, everything feels nicer. Seats I love alot! even though you pretty much have to fall into the seats to get in. 32 feels like more of a mongrel and raw, the 34 feels more tuned to the street so to say. I've had mine 3weeks then pulled the engine to freshen up and improve a little, but in the short time I drove it, it was great! And yes it still has the GTR magic.
  18. Pm's replied. Items remaining: Apexi pod filter setup undertray LH rear driveshaft assy Cams belt buckle alternator pod filter upper camber arms gearbox gearbox case
  19. When I had my 32GTR, it had a HKS fcon v computer (gold looking thing) and the tune was okay, but a little lean, and advanced on full boost. It worked quite well, save for a few little glitches from bad connections on the harness. Had it tuned at BD4's in Sydney by Tom. He had a lot of experience with these computers. Bought a navigator for it but it wasn't compatible to my older computer. They are pretty much a stand alone ecu and have 32x32 mapping. Being a MAP sensor based ecu, there are more maps to tune and get right, compared to MAF setups. Also with multiple throttle bodies like the GTR, they are harder to tune again, but if done right are great! Ended up going to a PFC with 80mm AFM's.
  20. Brake ducts and Exhaust SOLD. Gear shifter surround SOLD pending.
  21. Very clean!
  22. Some bloody nice cars guys! Here's some of my latest ride. Before I got it. Before I pulled the engine out.
  23. Tie rod SOLD. HKS computer SOLD.
  24. Lolz, your funny, I do miss the 32 though!, had/has more grunt!
