  1. No offence, but people who kneecap others don't usually feel the need to say so on an internet forum
  2. Bec try O'Brien's - because they have stores in NZ, they stock screens for imports too.
  3. Wow, that's some seriously scary shit...totally agree with Pete's observations on the matter too.
  4. If they've got a Mark II then possibly, but they really haven't dropped off in price at all. I've got a cheapie on my site at the moment but as a general rule, if someone wants a clean manual Chaser with under 80,000km they're gonna be looking at $20K importing one from Japan. Chasers really haven't dropped much in price over there. The motor is sensational obviously, I'd take one in a heartbeat over an RB25, sorry guys. I felt more comfortable in my 34 than my Chaser though, and while the trim in the 100s is nicer quality, the style of the fabric is awful in the series 1s at least. I've seen R34s in Japan running 1Js, which would be my ideal combo I reckon..
  5. Any compliance workshop will have them, try Synergy.
  6. Been through this one before Dean - the requirements for registration are different from state to state, so an LO3 or engineers certificate from interstate isn't worth the paper it's written on in SA. EVERY personal import (and every 15 year import or pre-'89 import) goes over the pits at Regency, regardless of whether or not it has been previously registered interstate. What's more, you'll need to go into TransportSA and ask at the counter on the left (Vehicle Safety Standards) for a statement of requirements (it'll be mailed to you, you can't get one over the counter) which details what work you'll need to do to get it registered in SA. Once that work is done, book it in for your inspection, and for obvious reasons make sure you've fixed the other stuff too
  7. Correct until the second last line - they're actually quite expensive in Japan, and command a premium there compared to the equivalent R34 sedan. Then again, all RWD turbo cars are over-priced in Japan these days, for obvious reasons
  8. All of the above I'm writing an article for HPI about it as we speak. If a "dealer" can sell a freshly imported low km car here in Australia $5K cheaper than what I could import one from Japan at basic cost price, what does that tell you?
  9. lol I had a client on it when it went through auction a few weeks back...
  10. Has this section become a safe haven for post whores??
  11. Copycat! Mine arrive later this week Same size and all, although I'm squeezing mine onto an Evo 8
  12. lol did you leave your KKK outfit home again?? I'm all for chopping off thieving bastards fingers one at a time, but only because they're thieving bastards, being Aboriginal has nothing to do with it. If you'd been to a prison lately, you'd surely know that Aboriginal people are already highly over-represented in our prison population, they certainly aren't being given any favours in court.
  13. There's a thread discussing it about two threads below yours.
  14. NOOOOOOO!!! Well they land next week, but the car won't be here for another few weeks, only arrived at compliance yesterday.
  15. Thought you might like to see my latest purchase, the new Work Emotion 11R rims, just released in Japan. I'm hoping I'll be one of the first in Oz to get them on a car. I bought some in matt black, 18x9.5 +20 all round for the Evo 8. Should fill the guards reasonably well lol...
  16. Nice car, but good luck finding anyone to swap an R34 GT-R for it...
  17. Hey I just realised, was that you I went ripping past in the GT-R about a month ago? I thought it was another customer of mine who lives out North East way hehe...
  18. They can, you just won't get it for another 12 months...
  19. I'm happy for them to jump on here and prove me wrong, but I'm suspecting it may be their test car....as in not able to be registered until they have plates for it...
  20. ^^This man speaketh the truth. I don't even look at early model R32s any more.
  21. I'm happy to put mine in if you want. See below for pic
  22. Theoretically it would be eligible under SEVS, because it is sufficiently different to the base model Clio, but because they were only built in limited numbers, you'd be pushing it uphill to get a workshop to agree to take one on as a test car. From what I understand there are only two of them in Australia, both personal imports, and as luck would have it, one of them is up for sale. I spotted it yesterday in the latest issue of Unique Cars magazine.
