  1. I'll pay ya later Danny lol I agree with Paul though - better to spend the money on a nice low-km late model R32 GT-R. Getting earlier, rough ones can be a bit of a false economy, because you often end up spending lots of cash just keeping it on the road once it's here. $18-20K will get you something nice.
  2. After a brief holiday and service, my GT-R is back home Even accounting for the power difference, it really is in a different league to the Evo 8.
  3. Nissan, penny pinching at its worst - you'll find there are bolt holes for all three positions on the Pulsar, but they only fit one child restrain hook, which you're supposed to move to the spot where you need it...tight ar$es...
  4. Mine's running Nismo S1 suspension, and yes it's pretty low, probably a bit hard to tell by the pic in the signature, but no chance of getting it over a Coke can
  5. They're either genuine Nismo or Nismo lookalike. Most replicas seem to be made with fibreglass, the real ones are plastic. The side skirts make the car bloody low, I've already had a few decent hits on speed humps, and when I saw the price on replacing them, I decided to get them repaired instead lol
  6. Give us the chassis number, that should solve it.
  7. lol well my guess is that they're trying to attract customers who would buy a 68,000km Autech for $27K, which would certainly get them a nice car if they were buying something from Japan. In the case of this particular car, my customer got it a LOT cheaper than that (I won't discuss figures publicly, that's for him to decide if he wants to share what he paid). He knew what he was buying, that's the main thing.
  8. If you know they've bought the car from auction, ask for the auction sheet. Simple. Watch their faces carefully when you ask - if they say no or hesitate, then check the condition of the car very thoroughly.
  9. Well you're highly wrong. If you'd read the thread, I've already given the chassis number for the car. Feel free to run it through FAST. lol, I think it's what they call in the trade "dummy stock" And both the km reading and the year on the ad are incorrect.
  10. The VQ30DET is a nice swap into a 350Z, Ben, trying advertising it on some Zed forums.
  11. NIsmo Super Coppermix
  12. Chortle chortle... That's a car that I sent there for compliance... it belongs to a customer of mine who got it extremely cheaply (think auto RS Four price), so he wasn't overly fussed about the issues mentioned. It has higher kms and despite the mucking around under the bonnet, was still graded 4BB at auction. Chassis number is WGNC34-104829.
  13. Courtesy of Wiki lol 2004 saw this successful CTR updated with many improvements - revised EPS with quicker steering, revised suspension settings, projector headlamps (JDM=HID, EDM=halogen), lighter clutch and flywheel assembly etc; based on Honda literature, this facelifted (FL) model was targeted at addressing customers' and critics' feedback such as understeer on the limit (due to the front Macpherson strut setup), numb steering response and lack of low end torque.
  14. lol, we lived in Daikokucho when we first arrived in Japan, I later found out the whole suburb was inhabited by Yakuza... ...they also own most of the car auctions, so they turn up to keep an eye on proceedings every few weeks. Not hard to spot
  15. Give me a buzz - 0402 904 069 - it's easier than typing it all
  16. Hang on, have you made a booking at Regency? If the car was imported under the old 15 year rule, they'll make you go over the pits with it.
  17. Short answer is no - law of diminished returns
  18. 1.2-1.3 mil FOB for 2002 models, 1.5-1.6 mil FOB for 2004 models. That's for grade 4s.
