  1. It didn't even bother opening it... I can't stand it when people with no social skills or self esteem head to Japan, get told they're "kakoii" a couple of times by gaijin-loving girls, and suddenly think they're the centre of the universe.
  2. I'm no expert in these matters, but I would've thought the notice was pretty self explanatory
  3. You'll need the chassis number BNR32 etc etc so we can check it on FAST. Are there any other marking around the car to suggest what Mine's parts are inside it? Your best bet would probably be to contact Mine's themselves, although don't be surprised if they haven't kept records going back that far.
  4. ^^^ In Sapporo, Grade 5A and STILL has rust!!
  5. For reference's sake, I run 18x9.5 +12 on my R34 GT-R (in the sig), so maybe a 5mm or 10mm spacer might fill it out a bit more.
  6. I know it would probably work with a bit of stuffing around with suspension settings, but I'm also running TEIN EDFC so there's a limit to what I can do with it. I really just need the Evo on the road at the moment, as my only other alternative is driving a Ford Territory lol
  7. Actually yes, sorry, better add Stagea to that list haha - would be a fairly aggressive fitment!
  8. Hi guys, The Work Emotion 11R is a brand new rim fresh off the boat from Japan - I was one of the first to get a set and they arrived last week. The only problem was I bought them for an Evo 8, and a test fit found them being quite a long way outside the guards, to the point that some major guard work was gonna be needed, and more stuffing around with the suspension settings. In the end, I put them back in the box and have decided to sell them and go for something less extreme. They are still in their boxes, just as they arrived from Japan. I bought them for $2290 from the great guys at JDM Concept, and I'm prepared to offload them for $2000. That's NOT or near offer, so no low-balling or you'll get a short sharp response from me. 18x9.5 +20 is a perfect fit for a R32 GT-R and will also work on R33 or R34 GT-Rs. If you've got a GT-t and want to roll the dice, be my guest lol
  9. Just needs a set of AVS model 5s in bronze to fill the guards
  10. I sniffed around them a little for a while for a daily, and ended up with an Evo 8 haha
  11. Well I just bumped the insurance value up another $30K recently, so feel free to come and nick it haha
  12. Good luck with the first one. The new units must be calibrated every time before they can be used. The only chance you may have is that where the officer was positioned in relation to where you are may have given an inaccurate reading.
  13. Getting there haha... (My apologies if this is all sounding too smug lol) Terry when the time comes to sell, you'll be the first to know. I'd be proud to sell it to you, my friend.
  14. If his pockets are deep enough It's eventually gonna be in HPI when I get around to doing the photoshoot...
  15. lol, you're probably right Euge - all I cared about was that it was no longer in Australia. Not sure where to go from here now when I sell my car haha
  16. It was bought under negotiation privately after it passed in, so final sale price isn't available. I was making calls all week to try and find buyers at around the $100K mark landed. My guesstimate is it made at least 6 mil at auction.
  17. Hahaha so true. Not sure if you spotted it, but at USS Tokyo yesterday there was an R33 Autech GTR sedan given a grading of 2! It was a Flinstones car and the owner had sprayed over it all with black paint to cover up the rust and make it look nice haha. Someone give that USS vehicle inspector a payrise!! +1 for truth in auction gradings!
  18. Richard, remind me to tell you the story one day, of the rusted Evo 7 GT-A we took a punt on - 4.5A out of f*kuoka, no rust mentioned on the sheet....good old USS...went straight back through auction at HAA the next week.
  19. Dog shit can also look like chocolate if you squint hard enough
  20. Beat me to it, even before the VIN. It's a 260RS with a very stupid cluster change, by the looks. Either way, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
  21. The Z-Tune is actually no longer in Australia, unfortunately - it was snapped up by an eager collector from Spain.
  22. Haha, ok well I'm putting two and two together now! Yes your brother's car was physically inspected by my agent BEFORE purchase, and despite it being marked as an R grading due to the front quarter being replaced, my agent said there was no signs of any structural repairs that would cause an issue for compliance in Australia, in fact there were no signs of strutural repair full stop, so he (the agent) purchased it. For the record, it was listed on my website as a grade RB too, with the same explanation given as above - I'm more saying this so that you guys know I have nothing to hide when it comes to listing auction gradings. If a car is a grade R, I'll list it as a grade R, even if it looks like a 4! Shoot me an email to [email protected] Marko and I'll send you the sheet. I actually thought I'd already given it to your brother! lol
  23. Another vote for heslo, he never seems to be doing any real work, this might give him something to do.
  24. *sigh* Ok, did your brother actually have someone check the car in the metal? Or did he just buy it by going off the pics and the auction sheet? If he bought it in the last day or two, let me know all the details of the car it was and I will try and track down the sheet for it. But you need to do it ASAP, PM me the details if you prefer. I sincerely hope he had someone take a good look at it, someone who understands the quality of cars required for compliance under SEVS in Australia. Lucky you asked before it was sent to Australia, or you could end up with a car that gets rejected by the compliance workshop. In some circumstances, R graded cars are ok - panels can be removed for all kinds of reasons, not just for accidents - but if the auction sheet notes more than one panel replaced, or any kind of structural damage, you're gonna be pushing sh*t uphill to get it complied, unless the repairs have been immaculately done, and decent panel beating seems to be a very rare thing in Japan.
