  1. I've got access to everything coming up that's no problem, I just can't give MY access out to my clients so they can search through the auctions themselves... I don't mind doing it for them, it's just that most of them want to search for themselves.
  2. I use a paying site for mine - I'd love to find a free one because I check all the cars for my clients daily, it would save me a lot of time!!
  3. For the record, I have a Territory as a family car - very very practical, and great to drive, but also starting to fall apart in my hands having done all of 80,000km...
  4. It changes the decisions for three or four ex-pats I know currently in Japan all looking for cars, one of whom is after an R35. I'm seeking a bit of clarification on it before they can purchase something. But yes I suspect it is probably more aimed at the top end of town - I think there might be more 22Bs here than in Japan these days...
  5. If the owner didn't sell at that money, he's on crack...
  6. lol I missed that one, better go back through my junk mail folder haha
  7. Must be all those Windows 7 Whoppers he's been eating...
  8. Still at least 12 months away from being able to be imported
  9. It seems DoTaRS decided to update their website regarding personal imports a couple of weeks ago without letting anyone know, RAWs included... It's still 12 months ownership to bring a personal import into the country, but now you can only do one every 5 years, as of 18 November 2010. Fail. http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/veh...ria_2.aspx#five Read the grey box at the bottom of the section.
  10. My Dad has a Forester and a Legnum and I can tell you which one he prefers to drive OP, I forgot to mention M35 Stagea - $15K would land you one if you imported it yourself, and I rate them over the Legnum. Ideally a Stagea 260RS would be the choice, because you could bolt on any leftover bits from your GT-R haha
  11. The same motors available in the Tarago/Estima - 2.4 litre 4 cyl or 3.0 litre V6 on first gen, that went to 3.5 litres for second gen. The Hybrid uses the 2.4 litre motor with two electric motors from memory.
  12. Add Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 into the mix, they're a good deal quicker from the factory than the Stagea, not as easy to mod though.
  13. R34 GT-t sedan MIGHT be possible, otherwise you're dreaming if you want a decent manual coupe. Same with a decent R32 GT-R. If you want something in mint condition, get an R33.
  14. The million dollar question - do you have insurance?
  15. Mr Eps, I'm doing both first and second generation models. The Alphard is actually slightly smaller than the E51 Elgrand in a couple of measurements, and prices are fairly comparable to E51s too. They sold stacks of them in Japan so supply isn't a problem, and the other big advantage is they sold as a hybrid. I'm actually looking at a couple of other cars out of SE Asia though, but that's further on down the track.
  16. It's like Elvis impersonators - at its current rate of expansion, everyone will be an import broker in 20 years time...
  17. Awesome vid - you better show funkymonkey he has always lusted after an Autech version, that vid will give him wood...
  18. None here yet, and they're gonna be fairly pricey I suspect, up around $40K and upwards for the Alphards, fully loaded though. The Vellfires are still $40K in Japan, you'd be closer to $55-60K I reckon to bring one in.
  19. There were a handful of R33 GT-R sedans made by Autech, but they were all manual, as were all GT-Rs
  20. ^^And did you get a copy of the auction sheet or the export certificate to prove the kms were genuine?
  21. Got it in one Will, just waiting on the article to be run and we'll get things moving. The fact that I want one for a family bus has nothing to do with it of course. Might add the Vellfire while I'm at it - sexiest people mover on the planet...
