  1. Has anyone else noticed that us three Y34 owners are the only ones interested in this thread? lol
  2. Haha, that's ridiculous - I was going to say what about all the manual safety cars over the years, but all the ones I can think of in recent memory have been autos :S Either way, pretty damn soft on the organiser/clerk-of-course's part. There's no reason why the V8s shouldn't be able to keep up lol I'll give you a buzz later on this week and bring the N1 out for a drive, if you're around the place. Dohmar - you're seriously dissing BBS LMs?? Mate, time for a style adjustment!!
  3. Go for a ride in one 12 months ago, then I'll be jealous lol - I'm still one down on Mr Donnon though...
  4. Just to clarify, NO I WILL NOT TAKE $2000, thanks to the 3 people who've asked...
  5. Anyone need new rims? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Go...12-t261774.html

  7. PM me your budget and I can ask around for you.
  8. Hi guys, I'm madly in love with these rims - I bought them to go on my R34 GT-R before it even existed, but then I went and bought an R34 GT-R with LM-GT4s in exactly the same size, making these ones redundant. I've just bought another set of 19s from Japan for another car waiting in the wings, so I can't afford to hold on to these too. Advan RGs are incredibly hard to source these days, particularly in GT-R-spec offsets. They are the ultimate JDM lightweight rim around and look tough on just about any car. Slight rash on the edge of one rim (see pic), the others are all in excellent condition. Get in quick! Brand: Advan RG Stud/PCD: 5 x 114.3 Size: 18x9.5 Offset: +12 Tyres: Yokohama DNA i-Drive 235s all round Tread left: approx 60% on three of them, and about 35% on the other, only in one spot. All are still above the tread wear indicators, holding pressure fine, no damage to rims or tyres. Price: $2500 FIRM. Don't waste your time lowballing me, I'd rather keep them. 9. Another vote for Import Monster. Their system is brilliant - I'm very jealous!
  10. There are a few floating around as personal imports, I know of a couple that went to Queensland too.
  11. Man I wish, that's one van I'd love to explore more thoroughly..
  12. I think you'll find $120K was the GT-R, not the GT-t
  13. In 1998, including 5% GST in Japan, but not on road costs, an R34 GT-t manual 2 coupe new in Japan was $49,729 (at current exchange rates). To import one here would've been closer to $67,000 landed and complied. The same deal for an R33 in 1995 - $46,967 not including on-roads, and $64,000 landed and complied here. The first real import I even went in was an R33 S1, built in 1995, imported in 1998, and he paid $40,000 for it. Sounds ludicrous, but when you consider what an '06 model manual V35 coupe would cost to import, let alone a V36, then it starts to make sense. Just for humour's sake - the same calculations on a 2001 R34 GT-R V Spec II N1 - $101,633 in Japan, $130,000 landed and complied here...
  14. The R34 N1 definitely has ABS lol Congrats on the purchase, Brandon! I'll be in touch when we finally get the register up and running.
  15. Well if he puts his erection in the wrong spot, I'm sure he'll be in a fair bit of trouble with the other half...
  16. You need to speak to former Drift Australia competitor Dan Mackie - they fitted an LS1, then later an LS2 to their Z32.
  17. I think we submitted our applications at the same time Either way, it's through, so I'm happy. Gotta work on the bB now...
  18. For those of you who want a good laugh... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ap...lt-t259843.html Congrats Shane, I still remember the birth of my son like it was yesterday. Amazing feeling, being a Dad. Stock up on sleep while you can.
  19. I don't have that much time lol
  20. lol. Oh dear.
  21. I reckon they're a great car - if fuel goes back up again, you could pimp one up as a daily and keep your Skyline for the weekends
