  1. It's "rapt" by the way lol - sorry might be the only chance I get to edit the editor... Conrgats mate, a great title to work with.
  2. We've upped the max to 300 this year (and that will be totally chockers), but we've already passed 150 entries and we still have 3 months before the event... I'd give my left nut for someone to enter a KGC10...
  3. It will be interesting if Nissan can keep it at the original quoted price.... I suspect tyres play a pretty big part in the improvement - a decent improvement it is, either way.
  4. lol prepare to be dazzled haha Grab handle on the driver's side was deleted in S2 Spare tyre was upgraded to a better one Paint finish under the bonnet was improved - i.e. it was actually painted, not just a base coat Jamie you only said the radiator was different, so I thought I should add the extra information about the top tanks And the real kicker... The plastic covers over the bootlid hinges were changed! Don't ask me how they changed though...
  5. There's a reasonable chance it came in under the 15 year rule before it was shut down (i.e. imported somewhere around 2004 or 2005), in which case it won't have a compliance plate. I wouldn't be too concerned.
  6. ANOTHER trainspotting thread!! Stuff not already mentioned... Hi beam bulb changed from H3 to HB3 Rear foglight tinted for S2 The seatbelt had a little arm on the pillar to hold it out for the driver – removed on series 2 Manual adjustment switch for Xenons changed to automatic levelling Stereo headunit changed to a double DIN model Adjustment switch for rear vision mirrors changed from square panel to round knob Radiator changed – plastic top tanks on the S2 Space saver spare wheel rim changed from alloy (painted to look like steel) to steel Trim inside rear bootlid deleted Metal cover added over the rear window wiper motor inside the boot Metal cover added over the engine management computer Engine build plate changed from blue to silver (the Nurs were gold, just for reference…) There's more but that can wait till later...
  7. There probably weren't many - I know they were only built at a rate of around 50 per month, because the leather interior was very time consuming to make and they also had extra staff on hand for quality control. Working on your six month production run, you'd be looking at not much more than 300 cars. PM me your chassis number and I'll check it in FAST, but I'm pretty sure the M Specs come up as V-Spec 2s in there.
  8. This sounds like one of those situations where someone says something really dumb, everyone tells him he's an idiot, then he says he was only mucking around and really knew all along lol
  9. At least 50% of the cops have absolutely no idea about car modifications - they DO know about photoshop and that certificates can be easily forged, so even if your certificate is legit, they will probably ignore it. On the side topic - I drove a Holden show car (V8 supercar replica) on the street once with 20% tint all round and on the front screen. Scariest drive of my life.
  10. Sorry Kye didn't realise the original question was directed at me (someone posted in between...)
  11. lol - Fail, HEKT1K, Epic Fail.
  12. Perhaps you could drive your Magna more often and keep it real for both of us?? Or maybe offer to pay for a new Nismo LM-GT4 rim or Nismo front bar when either of them get smashed in a pothole out on the Hay Plain? Highlighted for truth - copped a one month licence suspension and $400 fine (and this is going back a few years ago) for a road trip in a hire car to Melbourne. We did the return trip in a day and still went out clubbing when we got back. You can imagine the look on the faces of the blokes at the rental company when they took the odometer reading haha. Aside from the lack of cruise control, a Stagea is a brilliant car for interstate trips.
  13. It's coming, I tells ya!!
  14. I think one of 18 ever built and no airconditioning was a good enough excuse to get it transported rather than drive it from Brisbane
  15. Spotted a gorgeous silver R32 GTS-t with white Advan Model 6s and no rear wing on Golden Way. Man that shape is so classic, still a sexy looking car. Also spotted some joyriders in a stolen VT Commodore slam into a young P-plater in her Hyundai and drive away from the scene while I was washing my car up at the car wash at the Village today. I hope her Dad's a bikie and can track you guys down...
  16. I consulted my Japanese GT-R book and from what I can gather, there are no definitive answers, only because it was offered as a normal model, like a V-Spec II. I can tell you there were 3 M-Specs built as test models in January '01 (BNR-400801-803), before they were officially released in April '01 (BNR-401356 onwards). The EY0 gold paint came the Japanese Primera.
  17. lol yes it's a Cappuccino. I'm not sure what's a bigger fail - the car, or the fact that the OP didn't notice it wasn't the real deal...
  18. Agreed! We'll get on to the approvals fairly soon.
  19. Sexy wheels!! What brand are they??
  20. I'm getting my Aarons and Jarons confused lol
  21. He did, but I didn't
  22. All still there - see contact details above for pricing.
  23. Hi guys, for those of you who haven't heard, All Japan Day is on the lookout for more classics this year to swell numbers, so if you're able to make it, we'd love to have you join us. Original thread is here - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ja...-2-t251241.html We will help interstate travellers arrange accommodation and storage for your cars. Cheers Kristian
  24. Even if it is ADR approved (which I highly doubt) it won't stop cops pinging you for it, and going over the rest of the car when they do.
