  1. If every Tom Dick Harry already knew about the differences between the models, then this thread wouldn't exist? He wanted to know about the main stuff - while it's fascinating knowing about the later models having a metal cover over the computer, it's hardly the kind of thing that's going to make you shell out an extra $10K for a V-Spec 2 over a V-Spec. What you call 'itty gritty' (sic) everyone else calls 'interesting, but ultimately useless'.... And if the crap is so widely distributed, please tell me more about my V-Spec II N1 - I look forward to hearing any information you've found that hasn't been already written by me. Just because you're anal about badges and trim colours doesn't mean you're right all the time
  2. You're not mates with this bloke are you? http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/showroom/185...6-325i-20z.html
  3. Damn, his arse must be superglued to the seat...
  4. hahahahaha How random - was re-reading this thread and a white van pulled up in front of my house...
  5. eeiko321, you forgot the most obvious one - V Spec IIs had a CF bonnet with NACA duct, which was unpainted (and extremely sexy) on the N1s.
  6. lol dude it's the guy delivering the newspapers, that's what the "egg" sound probably was...
  7. Spotted a gunmetal R33 sedan with gold Drifteks on it cruising down N E Rd alongside me, waved and got a thumbs up.
  8. If I put tint on, then I'm like every other "normal" GT-R lol All GT-Rs apart from N1s ran UV Cut glass.
  9. There are definitely similarities there. I'd have his tail-lights, but keep the rest of my car lol Apologies for the average backdrop...
  10. Are you saying I'm a younger driver?? chef stagea, wash your mouth out with soap. Let us never mention the "d" word again.
  11. I also spotted a series 3 R33 GT-R, silver, on Lower North East Road, last night.
  12. Ask me in a day or two and I'll tell you what Toyo R1Rs are like - I'm about to put a set on my car.
  13. :bunny: yay for more police attention being shown to imports...
  14. You won't get a compliance plate, nor will you need one. The requirements for registration for pre-'89 cars are not the same as for cars imported under SEVS.
  15. Brendan, you'll need to go into TransportSA and ask for a Statement of Requirements. They've got generic forms that go through the ADRs you'll need to meet to get the car registered, but unfortunately they're not available anywhere else apart from Regency, from what I can gather. Perhaps try your local first.
  16. Rare, expensive and ineligible for import. Google Autech Skyline26 for those who haven't seen it.
  17. I've decided to also get one as a daily, they are pimpalicious. Check the interior!
  18. There were a few different styles, either way, props to puresx for lending me his adaptor. Now to get Growly on the case and make me a couple of them
  19. Steve I'm on the case! Will get a second one made when I get mine done
  20. Same car effectively bar a few cosmetic changes, they just updated the name to match the number/letter sequence for the rest of the range, from memory. Luke, you're dreamin.
  21. If it's the same one I spotted on Lower North East Road, then technically it's a 512TR lol. From memory that was on the plates too. I spend about half the day driving around in the GT-R - do you think I saw anyone??? Unbelievable!
  22. Spotted an R34 GT-t in what looked like Lamborghini Metallic Orange heading up Payneham Road today, with interstate plates from memory. Get some black rims on that thing and it will make an awesome streeter.
  23. All Australian S15s are turbo - both Spec S and Spec R. Spec S in Japan was non-turbo, but to import one you have to get the Spec S Autech version, and they're around $18K and upwards.
  24. SO TRUE! I was there for a week one time, and could count the Skylines I spotted on one hand.
  25. I'm good mates with Matt - that's why I only need someone else's for a day or two, so he can copy it for me The Wheelworx guys are on the hunt for one at the moment, there were a few different versions apparently.
