  1. If he's after a new one, tell him to hold off a few months - the next model will be RWD.
  2. I suspect if they're announcing on-road prices, they would've been smart enough to lock in exchange rates and purchased their yen back when the dollar was strong. If they didn't, they'll be losing on every GT-R they sell if the RRP doesn't change. But yes, Nissan haven't left much of a gap in their 18-month window before used ones become eligible...
  3. It could have something to do with the souring exchange rate bumping the price of the JDM ones up by about $40K. It's actually cheaper to get one from Nissan.
  4. I wonder if Paul will answer any of my emails or voice messages then
  5. And last I checked, a V35 is a little different to a KGC10
  6. ^^Do you have to make 100 posts to sell something on SAU?? Love your work, Shan!
  7. I was originally gonna comply it, but it's not worth the aggro. Belongs to my agent, not a customer btw Specs on the car: 1995 R33 Nissan Skyline GTS-t track car RB25DET 2.5 litre 6 cylinder turbo 5 speed manual transmission 75,000km Silver HKS GT2835 turbo – just been rebuilt All braided oil lines HKS dump pipe Fairly huge HKS intercooler HKS EVC Aftermarket clutch and flywheel TEIN coilovers M’s air intake Aftermarket alloy wheels (17” Blitz) Timing belt and water pump replaced 1000km ago Aftermarket exhaust Link to pics - http://ironchefimports.com/site/index.php?...view&id=218 Turbo has already been sold! Now running an R34 GT-t factory turbo, on R33 S2 motor. Rims have very sticky Dunlop Direzza DZ101s with heaps of tread left, 235 and 255, so I'm presuming they are a 17x8 and 9 combo. Car is in Adelaide, interstate buyers are welcome to buy, but you'll need to arrange someone to come and pick stuff up, because I haven't got time to muck around with posting it all. Email me at [email protected] or call 0402 904 069.
  8. I think they're sexy as, particularly on the sides.
  9. I'm sure they'll br bringing in all versions, particularly if the earlier ones are substantially cheaper. Better to have a slow Cube than none at all This one floats my boat...
  10. Pintaras were 4 cylinder (CA20E single cam from memory? Someone correct me if I'm wrong), Skylines were 6 cylinder (RB30E obviously). That was their big difference
  11. Sorry Ash, if you you'd asked I would've mentioned it! It mustn't have come up in conversation at any stage. Hope the Evo is going well
  12. Maybe ask VicRoads about possibly getting limited registration as a rally vehicle and the process you need to go through to achieve it, but as Dave has already said, normal registration as a road car can't happen.
  13. Nathan, my brother in law works for "a large car audio company" and has been fitting alarms for years, and does extra work out of hours. Let me know if you strike out with the other guys, as he can come to your place and fit it too.
  14. No news on who the workshop is yet, but I can almost guess, going on my own recent experiences.
  15. I'm keen to get one once they're on. Something like this should do the trick...
  16. I seem to have an uncanny knack of being double booked or overseas when the get-togethers are on. My biggest problem is having more friends than time to catch up with them regularly, so when I'm home I'm usually catching up with my good mates. I'll try and make it out at some stage...
  17. Seriously, I know you're new and all, but have a look around before pressing the "new topic" button... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/1s...-s-t245222.html
  18. Lucky we don't drive around with our bonnets up
  19. I like how the OP said "Ignore the wrong date on the pics" - looking at the date stamp was the best part...
  20. ^^Presumably in exchange for $20,000 and your first born child
  21. That's actually a very cheap price for compliance, so I wouldn't blame the workshop if they thought they should be charging more for labour to remove/refit. As for the neons, yes they need to be removed....preferably permanently....
