  1. nismo make a short shifter which looks different and a solid shifter which is different but looks very similar to the standard one
  2. fkd that id like an r35 for 40k havnt you seen the price of nur's these days you can pick one up for about 30k
  3. well just thought id put up that i got my high energy oil pan (long wait but not in hurry) very nice work, clean work and gates move freely, highly recomended, just a question for asr oil pans if he come on much, how come there are two different designs of oil pans between the just jap ones and the ones sourced through et performance products? i know the et ones are 8.5 ltrs and the just jap ones are 6.5, but why the different design?
  4. no worries but just wait for akis to give the go ahead for the gear cover and we can get this happening, and buyer pays postage, i forgot to put it in the original post but i figured it was a given. post up your post codes so i can find out $ for postage
  5. where'd you hear that, correct me if im wrong please but i think you'll find tht any carbon body panels are illegal eg carbon bonnets
  6. i think that the first stolen thread in a long time that actually got it back, lucky they were joy riders, im really happy for you
  7. id go same size as throttle body/ inlet to plenum if its a gtr and same size as the turbo outlet on the hot side
  8. i think he's just being a shit stirer , so if you guys could organize who pays how much for the bits ill sell them individually or dirt can have them dont want to sound like an asshole but i dont want to be left with 1 piece I cant get rid of so i will wait to get the money from all parties before I send the parts out, If one person backs out i will send the money back to you, so if you guys are happy with that then I'll part them out to you
  9. a good way to block it off if you can find a proper blank for the high pressure outlet is to take the hose off, cut the hose off the fitting and weld up the hole in the fitting where the hose connected to.
  10. yes you can block it off, but i'd recomend opening it up and taking the fins out of the rear part if your going to block it of, or you could use the rear part of the pump to pump the fluid through a transmission cooler if your planning on doing some track work
  11. yup completely legal because they are completely sealed, just have the feed going to some fresh air, same as a stock air box, its a sealed box with an air inlet, just these ones are more areo dynamic inside.
  12. wow i really didnt expect there to be this much interest, to be fair ill separate to PM-R33 Akis Italiasr but you guys can decide how to divide the 350 between you or if one of you wants to fork out the 350 and sell the bits to the other two guys it would make my life easier
  13. mmmm yeh, its not an mls the head gasket is, the intake ones are single layer steel gaskets. the vht copper spray is good stuff thanks for the reply's guys
  14. hehe thats a fair few times, is that on the race car?
  15. also has anyone had issue's running the stock gasket in high boost applications, say in the area of 25 psi?
  16. ok i know this is a dumb question but has anyone re used a hks (or other) metal intake gasket on an rb26, the one closest to the head, i torqued it down left for a few weeks, engine hasnt been run, but now need to take the bloody part off, or does anyone know where i can buy this particular gasket by itself in metal form without buying a whole kit
  17. I havnt used one but i can tell you there is not one that bolts directly up to the afm, you'd use a pod adapter and then a short piece of silicone hose. they are a very neat piece of kit though
  18. sorry not really willing to separate at this time and im located in sydney
  19. I have a full set of cam covers for sale for rb26 out of an r32 Price is $350 for the set pm please
  20. as sais haltec platinum for the rb30 retail at 2k or so without a tune, and wholesale isnt exactly under 1600 so theres alot of the 5k there, you could just swap over the block and go from there
  21. nice vid, whats with the chick right at the end though?
  22. lol yeh pics would be nice, but i really dont think you can get a full cage and the carbon body parts engineered in and way shape or form apart from a dodgy one in nsw, the engine transplant you could get engineered, cover the pod, no atmo bov or atmo catch can, if using external pumps and external surge tank then that needs a fully enclosed box that drains to outside of the vehicle. If you do only intend on using it as a race car and not driving it on the road, rather than going through all the hassle and might I add extra cost of mucking around with it to get it to an engineering level then paying for all the engineering, blue slip rego etc, just find yourself a car trailer for a good price and then go buy a 90's model v6 auto dunny door with a tow ball, would do the job. You could fit a change of tires and a heap of junk in the back if you bought a wagon. also can I ask how much you paid for the r33? oh yeh and pics
  23. if you really want to get rid of the mess of the standard oil cooler, just use an rb20 oil filter mount, you just have to re mount the std oil press sender, or if you use the std, aftermark oil temp and press you can get t pieces from enzed and the like to have two senders of one hole
