  4. not true r34 non turbo, apart from gtv are 4 stud cant beleive no one said get a gtv, wack some coil overs in it set to a good performance height (not slammed), then when your off your p's get a gtt front cut and transfer the turbo engine in, problem solved
  5. not a fan of the super v8 taxis, the super tourers were great, arent the super taxis on telemetary anyway, so they all follow the same line, cmon australia get some exciting circuit racing going, its a pitty i work on sundays so i cant watch sbs
  6. dont bother painting it, just buy some black mesh for $30 bucks or so and some black silicon adhesive, just make sure its adhesive not sealant
  7. dont feel bad lol, ive heard of people filling it up till its topped off, as in till it reaches the top of the oil filler hole, old next door neighbour dumped the trans oil and putting more engine oil in the engine then wondered why it didnt drive properly, at least you realised bofore it did any big $ damage

  10. they put a bit of paper at the exit of your exaust and if it turns a certain colour then you have no cat cause the cat filters out certain chemicals and you can get an engineer's cert without an emmisions test by any engineer because they are two different things, an engineers cert is just saying the car is safe, eg engine conversion is safe, brakes are big enough for the new engine, the front mount is mounted properly, pod in an enclosed box, no atmo bov even with an engineers cert you can still get an epa notice, the epa is only about the emissions not weather the car is safe or not, you can have a safe car that doesnt comply with emmissions

  12. pretty sure they'd have something in place so people cant just sell heaps of old cars and make money, but it will also stop people buying old shit boxes, as if your going to pay 3k for something worth 1k, i think they have something along the same lines in japan <-- could be wrong on that one

  15. sounds like a real pain in the ass in wa, in nsw as mintr33 has done get engineer's report etc and blue slip it, but this still doesnt save you from the epa, it just means the car is roadworthy, doesnt mean it complies with emissions so still stay clear of the epa unless you've got it passed by them which you can do here, just need an "eviro tune" and the comp to be passworded so you cant change stuff

  19. just bought some super pro bushes today, how come on the bag is say australian owned and manufactured by fulcrum, get your facts right before you post shit, all of these type of bushes skweak that ive seen, must admit the ones im talking about skweaking didnt have the grooves in them, the super pro bushes have alot of cross grooves inside to keep the grease in to stop the skweak, see how we go eh if it does skweak i can deal with it lol, if i didnt want any unusal noises id keep the car standard
  20. pretty sure ebay is your friend in the case of getting your hands on some carbon fibre
  21. lol id hate to be the cops getting their ass handed to them , just an engineers cert in nsw doesnt make it full legal, they can still send you to the epa, pretty sure the only way to make an aftermarket comp legal is to have it tuned, go to epa they test the car on a dyno for emmissions etc and somthing to do with the comp being locked so you cant mess with it after the test, you could prob get around that last bit and have duel maps if you really wanted to
  22. thought id add that i heard the r34 in the 2nd one was a gtt also, and i read that walker said he wont do another one unless an r34 is one of the main cars that makes him good. oh and didnt r34gtr all have gold brembo's (not sure about them all being gold) the ones in the pics look like red gtt ones to me
  23. I liked the first one and tokyo drift, the 2nd one just pissed me off in parts and how could the main cars be an evo (not so bad) and an eclipse wayyyy to much crome in the 2nd one as well
