No. the lower the number more more OUT OF FOCUS what ever you're not focusing on will be, and the shorter distace that is in focus (from from to back) it also means it lets mroe light in, so you can use a much shorter shutter time to get the same light you'd need when shooting with a higher ap. just start reading man, and when u get a camera try to shoot with all the different settings. it's a fun way to learn. sooner or later it all fits together and makes sense.

nice start with models (She's not bad either ) I think people really demand extra lighting if you want to pull off that special look. It's a nice firm start! good comp and ideas. also... boobs are awesome.

Ok Managed to test the light rig out (And get a no standing ticket :'( ) Here's a couple test shots. first is the gratutitous evo shot. THis is straight outtta cam. No editting. Now here's a black car, everyone's worst enemy. Minor edits here. removed some bird crap, adjusted curves of pic.

It's variable power. But when its bright its no dimmer than f**k off bright. the camera auto exposed and the light is fairly directional. It's perfect for I need. Brighter than torch and no hot spots. Might try some later before beer o clock.

It's finished my light box.... light wand, light wang, whatever you want to call it... maybe a led brush? anyway, finished I'll try it out tonight if it's not to wet and see how it goes. damn phone never uploads a full pic to picasa.

Just a graduated mask and gausian. The background was ugly and stealing the attention from the sexy sexy car. Unacceptable haha.
